@Pondoro Your behavior is childish at best and moronic at the worst. You have done yourself no favors with the group of men on this forum. Embarrassing. Most will totally dismiss you.

DJT’s behavior is also often childish, moronic and embarrassing. He is the leader of the most powerful nation on the planet, both militarily and economically. He will not be dismissed.

Strange is it not...you have sunk their navy, destroyed their anti-aircraft systems, bombed their radars and cities and killed multiple leaders..bombed nuclear facilities..

Yet still..they control the Strait.

And wait until the Iranian wolves meet the Ranger and Marine Sheepdogs

It was very early January 1991 aboard USS TRIPOLI LPH-10. On our voyage to Kuwait we passed through the Strait of Hormuz with Iranian coastline visible to our starboard. We were all aware of old Death to America’s anti-ship missiles and with our Close in Weapons System (CIWS) inoperable, well the pucker factor was up. Then, the Big Stick with her deck bristling with Tomcats sailed by between TRIPOLI and Iran.

God bless the US Navy! God help whoever F's with them!

Although I truly want a peaceful end to the war. With a prosperous and peaceful Iran.

Part of me would love to watch our grunts go toe to toe with the punks in Iranian army uniforms. Like the decades long street corner Bully finally getting his ass beat.

The IRGC has hidden behind Hezbollah, Hamas and Houthis. The IRGC hasn’t seen action since 1988. They send women punks and proxies to do their dirty work.

Gentlemen,

You seem to allow Trump to bother you day and night!
Me, I acknowledge Trump is an A-hole of the highest order. But our Trump-hole is just what this world as needed since 9/11 !

I don't much care what Trump says. That's how he operates. Then, despite his words, he does something different. That modus operandi is hard to defend against!

You must not have any bad guys where you live. Clearly no one threatens your person, community, or country. Gosh, it must be great to be that small and unnoticeable.

In this world most people are sheep. A few others are wolves. Then there are those born to protect, the sheepdogs. For those of us in the real world where bad people, often evil people mean to do good persons’ harm, there are those of us who were born sheepdogs. These persons live life to protect others. Sheepdogs are happiest in the military, law enforcement, as public defenders, firemen, and all sorts of medical personnel. Although many on this forum are retired from service, we still serve in ways often not communicated publically.

In case you still wonder what a sheepdog is, allow me to introduce Lieutenant Colonel (retired) Dave Grossman who coined the Sheep, Wolves, and Sheepdogs philosophy.

So, of the three types of persons, which are you? I know what I am,
I was merely pointing out that he does not seems to be fully there sometimes, not that I have watched all his speeches, but in quite a few of those I actually have watched he seems more like an old man rambling than a world leader/statesman. But thats just a personal opinion, and who knows, perhaps he is just faking it for some reason:)

Of course many media outlets also seem to have drawn similar conclusions, but by now I know better then to quote those here since its seems to be mostly main stream media outlets writing those kind of articles.

The straits ARE open. Iran does not CONTROL anything at this point. Unlike after the Obama deal.

The issue remains the private owners of those vessels and their insurance companies.

If you want to see who is really running the straits watch how quickly the U.S. marines take over an Iranian flagged ship. But the U.S. can’t force owners to risk a random attack by some flunky in a Boston Whaler with a Dushka

I doubt you will get any argument here on Trumps often ridiculous statements or “weave” as he calls it. But he has always been bombastic, self centered and childish.

Many thought Biden had slid into dementia also. I did not. I thought he also has always been himself. An doofus half wit that has always struggled with the truth. And a simple creature of the swamp.

The actions of one very stupid idiot of a country do not make the entire country or its population idiots!

I still have a high regard for Norway…. :)

Well played sir!

So I guess its ok for soldiers to smash Christian symbols. As Long as israeli soldiers do it.. Interesting observation..

That is an asinine comment. That is not what ANYONE said, except you. Do you have rocks for brains?

You did prove Mark's comment, so there is that.

Christians are unwanted in Jerusalem..

What a complete load of crap. How much time have you spent in Jerusalem? Israel is the most tolerant nation in the Middle East. There isn’t even a close second.

Oh crap, I swore I’d give up arguing with pigeons…

I can’t stand to listen to much of Trumps speeches, I can’t take the repetitive nature of everything he says. I do support many of his policies though.
When talking about the media’s coverage of Trump, you must take their hatred of the man and their fawning over Biden who couldn’t put a decent comprehensive sentence together, who I feel was a shell of the man he was just 4 years earlier.

I ptarmigan hunt @WAB ... as I feel certain you have as well. Easy targets are sometimes difficult from which to disengage.

The problem is....oh you know what the problem is.. Its ALL over the world news..

And he is going in circles.. The war is a fuck up...admit it.

I dont understand why you think this war is a fuck up. I think you even posted earlier that, they have no navy, no air defense, and their leaders are dead. The straight is controlled by the US, and we now own an Iranian tanker as proof.

We are at 8 weeks? Can you name another operation with these types of military results in 8 weeks?

I would argue Europe has fucked up, they have become almost irrelevant in global affairs. Or maybe you can explain your position how the EU has become stronger based on their response.

Pondoro is, in my opinion, quite right in many of his comments. The fact is: an Arab/Muslim/Palestinian life is valued far less than a Jewish life in the Western world.
This is a point one could certainly consider in a quiet moment.
The tragic civilian casualties on both sides certainly play a role in supporting this.

There have been numerous attempts to annihilate the Jewish people, and they cannot and will not wait until their opponents have reached a strength they can no longer defend themselves against.

But what did the Arabs envision when they elected Hamas in 2006? The Hamas Charter of 1987 enshrines the destruction of Israel and defines it as a declared political goal. With this election, the population literally committed suicide.

In the Gaza tunnel system, one can almost ride the subway. No one can tell me that the "peaceful" population there didn't notice these gigantic construction projects. Likewise, no one can convince me that the Israeli secret service—supposedly the best in the world—didn't notice. Were they waiting for a pretext to strike like this and deliberately sacrificing their own people? It remains a mystery.

Golda Meir said once:
There will only be peace, when the Arabs love their children more than they hate the Jews.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid she's right with that statement.

Actually, I would consider the bombing of (not a war) Iran an overwhelming success at this point. We set back their nuclear program a couple decades, have depleted their munitions supply drastically, and showed off how big of a force we are without really even trying.

The only real fuck-up, is that Europe and other Allies had a chance to be a part of that force but instead showed their weakness.

You went into this war with 2 goals:

Regime change and seizing whatever enriched uranium they posess..

None are achieved..no one knows where the uranium is..

All I see is destruction in the western gulf states by Iran and destruction in Iran..

LNG production will be low until rebuilt..same for refineries on both sides..

The world is facing a global energy crisis...that not seems to bother either USA or Israel..

The Strait is de facto closed and will remain so as long as iranian traffic is denied, unless the US unleash a major military operation to reopen it..

Is it not overly arrogant to claim that Europe, Japan, Australia, etc. should step in and clean up the mess..?

A war nobody was consulted on or asked to participate in..?
