Good Gun Deals This Week

Those still have 3 weeks of runtime before the gavel falls, will probably go up quite a bit more till then

I don't have a preference, especially since I'm a lefty, it's just one that is ending soon without any bids so it can be had for a good price if someone is willing to deal with tough to find ammo and brass.

I love the dark finish. Fine looking rifle!

Did a lot of research on every web page I could look it up. Evey picture looks like its a typical Tikka magizine box. It does have a 1/2"-28 threaded muzzle. They have been for sale in the USA for close to a year. With the 1-8" twist heaver 223 bullets could be use. Would make a nice smaller size deer rifle suppessed.

I did some more digging and this rifle uses Tikka mags, not AR mags.

I’ve seen some comments on lack of left handed options. Here is a nice pair of unified Remington Model 700 Safari rifles, DOM 1976, in .375 H&H and .458 Win Mag for CAD$2200 each - that is about US$1600 each.

I really like my LH Cooper in 22-250. It's a very accurate rifle.

Whenever I see a Cooper 57M, they usually come at a premium price for a rimfire:

So when I saw this Cooper 57M in 17 HMR for $1,259 with a Nikon scope at a Bass Pro Shop in Wisconsin, it seemed like a good deal. If the bolt had been on the other side, I wouldn't be posting this for someone else to buy it.

Seems like there are more than a couple new wrong-handed rifles popping up, even some big boomers.

Both of these could really hold my interest if right handed.

Idk, i emailed the seller last summer when that 500 first popped up for sale. He didn't instill much confidence, and he didn't seem too interested in selling it. I asked him how it fires and he hadn’t fired it, I asked about feeding and he hadn't cycled it at all. One would think that a shop that sells big bore rifles would have some rounds on hand to at least test cycle/fire something.

I asked about why the maker cut the action, and he told me it wasn't….You can clearly see it’s been cut in two places in the photos. Weird thing to lie about. This was the same time that I posted an article on this website asking about whether or not I should try to upsize a regular magnum sized action into a big bore. Most legacy members on here advised me against doing that. Which is what i suspect happened with that rifle.

Thanks for the nudge on this one, I went ahead and ordered it to ship to my local store. :barefoot:
Glad to hear that, and i think you made a nice catch. I was tempted myself, but I really don't want to tool up for a new caliber that would duplicate ones I've already got. But it's always tempting... :-)

Ever notice that the same people always seem to be on auctions? Are they just secondary sellers? I can't do auctions. Too hard on the nerves. Give me runny tummy...
Some of my most palm sweating moments were in auctions... where my bank account is vigorously sundered apart. Also... one of my best all time finds came from an 1886 I bought completely on a (massively risky) impulse. I did no real research other than scanning photos and bought it based on looks alone, and got a $15,000 rifle valued at about $25-30K after sending it to well respected Winchester gunsmith to inspect.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Good day, Slider.

Do you by any chance have any 500NE brass left that you are willing to part ways with?

Best regards,
Boela Bekker.
