Has any work started on the dam at Kariba?

Thank you for sharing the article Mike. Very interesting. At least the article doesn't accuse the USA or UK of taking the water.

Always some type of intrigue.....

Wonder how much of the $294 contract ends up in ZANU PF member pockets?;)

Roughly $294?

Fear of that might just be the real reason for the delay....

Yep, there should have been a "m" after the $294. Changes the meaning a little doesn't it.:D

When I write my epic, I will post it first on AH for editing. ;)

I knew what you meant Wheels. I would have said the same thing with the M! :)

Mike, pete.g or anyone else on the ground over there, what does the average man on the street think when he reads an article like this?
he dies laughing.

What I find somewhat scary is that the published article does not surprise me. After seeing and reading some of what comes out of Africa none of it surprises me. What really worries me is that the power to be I the Western world and UN think that Zim and other countries are being governed by fit and proper people.

Surprise! Surprise! No not really.

i cant think of anyone that stupid to believe that.

Spike, thanks for the article about the Pastor turning into a snake. Every time that happens, I recommend going to a different church. Just can't be too careful.

At Kalahari Safari, the Small Things Are the Big Things
The thrill of the stalk. The stillness of the wait. The age-old rhythm of the hunt.
It’s not just about the size of the trophy. It’s about the stories that will be told for years.
We believe the memories are the true prize. The small things are the big things.
And we’re proud to offer a hunting experience that honours exactly that.

Not sure your price range. Have a 375 H&H with a muzzle brake. Nice rifle only fired a few times. Also a Mossberg 375 Ruger its been used and shows a few hunts on it.
Two African Safaris Hunted South Africa both times,
9 game animals taken
