This past Saturday was like Christmas all over again. The taxidermist, Jim August in Portland OR, delivered my animals from my safari with Kido Safaris. The hunt was fantastic and took place last year from Feb 27 to March 6, so I'm happy to have the mounts back already and very happy with how they turned out.

Great pictures, nice to see before and after shots and superb mounts too.
The giraffe is particularly impressive and presented very well.

That giraffe is awesome. There all awesome but the giraffe is spectacular.

I have never heard of them but the did an excellent job. Congrats

Congratulations on a fine trip sir!
I love that Giraffe on the pedestal. How heavy is that base in order to balance the mount, or is it mounted to the floor?

Take Care,

Stunning mounts, I too like the giraffe mount!

There is a large bag of sand in the base as a counter weight, but once I've decided that I'm not going to try any different spot, I think it would be good to anchor the back side of the base to the floor, the mount is front heavy. The mounts have only been up one day, but the giraffe does seem to get the most "wow" or "whoa" factor from people.

Love them before and after pitures, H4S.
They have came out trumps, your taxidermist does a great job
Thanks for showing us all

Looks like a great hunt! I like the way he did the Giraffe. Congrats, now it's time to plan the next hunt!

So true!!!

I'm torn between wanting to get my stuff back now and being happy for every extra day the bill is delayed!!!

Good for you . Beautiful trophies and mounts. Forrest

Bill? I knew I was suppressing something!

I've always suppressed that cost!!!! I can afford the safari. It is the taxidermy that gets me!!! :A Banana Sad:

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
