In a post on X, Centcom says US forces struck a Jamaran-class corvette during the start of Operation Epic Fury on Saturday.

"The ship is currently sinking to the bottom of the Gulf of Oman at a Chah Bahar pier," Centcom adds.

Does the U.S. have the ability to air drop weapons to the protesters to aid in the overthrow of the various factions vying for power? Without arms the protesters will have little impact against the military and various terror factions unless I’m missing something.

the US has the ability to hand deliver crates of weapons to the protestors along with teams of trainers that would quickly teach them not only how to use the weapons, but also some basic tactics for dealing with the current regime... theres an entire regiment within the US Army that specializes in this.. and coming right off the heels of 20+ years in Afghanistan, there are a shit ton load of fluent persian farsi speakers that are also very versed in persian culture embedded within that regiment..

Its just a matter of how much exposure we want to have and how many boots on the ground we're willing to have.. (I can almost guarantee you that there are small groups of people on the ground, that have already been there for weeks doing various "things" to support the air mission and the intelligence mission)...

thats very good news on the ballistic missile launchers.. but... Iran has a limited number of ballistic missiles and it takes them a bit of time and a lot of money to replace them..

The tool they have that concerns me most are their various armed drones.. they are estimated to have 80,000+ in their stockpiles and have a manufacturing capability to build as many as 400 shahed class drones each DAY...

While drones arent a threat long range.. they are certainly a threat to the region and to the fleet out in the gulf...

Im hopeful that we are targeting their drone manufacturing centers hard as well as anyone/everyone involved in their drone industry..

Certainly looks like the booster portion, possibly sans the warhead or payload section, of a fairly large missile to me.

Also pay close attention to the B roll video supplied to the news outlets by the DOW. Most clearly show the pulsing laser painting used by the guided munitions. Watching the munitions hit spot on the laser paint is telling!
