Great report and thanks for sharing. 7 meters you say and lights on..?) Well,,I had one at 10 to 15 feet, no light then, but from the circumstance's it was quite understandable. Sure makes for a really good adrenaline flow tho.
Very good that you went down there and did what you did even under the China virus situation. If nobody goes there and help dealing with the crop raiding ele, the elephants will undoubtable be poisoned by the locals.
