Im a big fan of My Father, and I smoke many of the La Aroma de Cuba blends.

I had the joya black this weekend while at the beach with the kids it was very good. Especially for the cost. I saw a few others I think I might pick up next time to try from their line up. The 1970 and the cuatro cinco. But I’m gonna add a a few blacks to the humidor for sure.
 
Picked this up yesterday on spec. A tasty little piece with a nice even burn and draw.

But of course! Anything that AJ Fernandez put his name on is fantastic. Great cigar, glad you enjoyed it.

Too many believe that Cubans are the best cigars. I politely disagree with them. I think the new Cuban cigars are those Cuban seed grown in Nicaragua by Cuban expats.

Definitely agree. I think if the embargo ever goes completely away and we can import habana-cuba cigars their mystic will be gone and there sales will plummet. America consumes more cigars then the entire world combined and I think it’s actually multiple time more annually. If/when people get to experience old world vs new world side by side I think they will pick the bolder more flavorful sticks. Plus I’ve heard a lot of Cuba’s best leaf and productive ground had been damaged by hurricanes.
 
Good or bad, a couple of days ago, I told my wife I was planning on spending my retirement money in Africa. She smiled back and a gave me a big thumbs up. She said don't get hurt, I need you alive. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

That sucks I had a Romeo y julieta 1875 Nicaragua after working out that was pleasant, I like full bodied cigars but sometimes something light is nice. But is kept going out at the last 1/3. So I’m bout to light up a mf judge and call it a night. I’ll have to see if my shop has a blackbird

Did you buy yours with the barrel already cut down to 21” or did you do it (or a gunsmith)?
