Curious as to what books others are enjoying at the moment or recently?

I’m finishing up African Game Trails by Teddy Roosevelt right now.

In a completely different spectrum I recently read Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. It’s sci-fi from the same author who did The Martian and it’s one of the fastest books I’ve ever read because I couldn’t put it down!

Interesting. Read The Martian and watched the movie. Very entertaining

At the risk of overhyping it, Project Hail Mary was even better. They are filming the movie and I think it’s going to be released in 2026.

I wish Weir would write more/faster. :p

Just finished Next by Michael Crichton.
Working on Venus by Ben Bova and A Harvest of Ash and Blood by DJ Molles.

Anxiously awaiting The Devils by Joe Abercrombie.

Currently reading “An Honest Man” by Michael Koryta. Just fished the Joe Pickett series and needed a change.

The Pennsylvania-Kentucky rifle by Henry j Kauffman , triumph and tragedy the second world by Winston Churchill and this months issue of the backwoodsman are the three currently on my coffee table.

Just moving to DM. Yes, please ask your friend if he knows somebody who might be willing to support a persistent hunt in the snow.

Hi Paul,
This is Daniel from Mankazana Safaris.

I saw your post regarding a hunt in Africa. I am sure you have been bombarded with messages and replies from other outfitters, so I will keep this one quick.
I have a feeling we have exactly what you need for a first safari.
