Before and after of the kitchen. Need a few touch ups, but 90% complete.

Amazing stuff, Sir! With the cost of land these days, I'm glad you were able to get it when you did!

Kitchen is looking great.

I'm anxious to see the improved fire pit and cigar smoking lounge.

That unfortunately will be the last thing to do. I need to make sure wife is happy with the mobile home first. So, we’ve smoke cigar by the pond and car port. :ROFLMAO: But, the cigar lounge will get done too. (y)

@PARA45, looks awesome. Have you been able to deer hunt on your place yet? Got some great weather for hunting coming soon. Best of luck and congrats again on your place.

We have, and we have two stand and two trough feeders set up. We worked hard opening up shooting lanes and clearing some areas to improve visibility. So far, we've only seen does, couple of young 4- & 6-point bucks, and yearlings. But, we have our eyes on two nice bucks, but they have showed up when we are not there. Go figure.

Here is a picture of one of them. Hopefully the rut will bring in new bucks.

That is where my stand is, and there is a huge trail that the deer use. This area is a bit swampy and there are tons of signs, the place is loaded with deer. We are going to do a bit of deer management, and get them into some protein, to help the does and fawns this spring, and hopefully help the bucks getting bigger antlers. We did this in Dooly County, and on the 4th year of feeding them protein, we saw a huge improvement on the deer. Fingers crossed that this plan will work here too.

No need to cross fingers, it works all over!!
Luckily the land joining mine was clear cut so it'snot hunting like it was, I'd let deer walk and they'd shoot them.

Wife and I worked on our bedroom flooring over the weekend. This was
the flooring in the house when we bought it. I kept it when we replaced it, and I’m glad I didn’t.

We spent the weekend here with no electricity or running water. It was like fancy camping :ROFLMAO:

Treated Mrs. PARA45 to some fancy dinning while we were camping. LOL!!!! She was a trooper, never complained and enjoyed the peaceful nights and we sat on the deck, listening to the night critters, watching the stars and the satellites flying by. Wonderful time. Here are some additional pictures of our stay.

Fancy candlelight (lantern) dinner of hot dogs. :ROFLMAO:

Of course I had to treat her to a fancy dinner, so I cooked T-bones on the grill with some mash potatoes. :D

Nothing like good clean Country living.

It may take a few years, but your Deer feeding program will pay off. I'm anxious to see what you do for food plots as my place in Florida has the same soil issues your place probably does.

Thank you! It seems like the soil in this area is very good. Not a lot of clay, like in the county I live in. The food plots we are looking at, are the no till grow in the shade type. Once we buy some, I'll send you a picture of what it looks like.

Yep, mine has 2 soil types, where it's dry enough to walk it's sand and clay, where the soil is good it's perpetual swamp. I have a lot of work to do, but fortunately I've got a gal that doesn't mind helping out.

Do you have hogs near your place? Most any food plot you put out for Deer, the hogs will root up before the Deer know it's there.
