That's a really good deal on what is IMO, the best pump shotgun.

(I've never owned a Winchester Model 12, so I may not know)

My father no longer hunts (he's about to be 89), and had a Model 870 Wingmaster 20 gauge with a modified choke.

I have a nephew who has just taken a job as a Project Manager for a construction company. I insisted that he take the gun, because I thought his job might afford him the opportunity to take potential clients on Georgia quail hunts. A Wingmaster is a fantastic shotgun, period.

It may even more perfect in a situation where you want to pull a superb 50 year old shotgun out of a case and be able to talk about it belonging to your grandfather.

I have several wingmasters similar, just the best most reliable pump guns, and this one at a good price, wish I had room for this one

I probably have too many shotguns as it is (I have an 12 gauge 870 Magnum Express with screw in choke tubes), so I don't really have room for this one, but that's a super deal.

Wingmasters are really a large step above regular 870's. Not in terms of reliability, but just fit, finish, quality and smoothness.

Bummer, if it was a 20 gauge I would jump all over this one. Very good seller to work with

If it was a 20ga it would be 300.00 more!!...lol You can shoot 2.5" loads and its the same thing..lol ;)

I was born on grandma’s couch so a couple of days later dad bought a 870 wing master with the $ saved with no hospital visit. Mom wasn’t impressed. Earlier model than this one. Great guns.

Nice shot gun, one of the best that remington produced.

I still have the 870 I bought as a kid in the '60's! Action is like silk!

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
