Lol right, it's pretty funny to watch them run and jump because their ol cods get to slapping around on the inside of their legs and stomach. They are in desperate need of a nut bra!

Love that Texas Dall, like to have one of my own!!

Thanks Jeff, if you would ever like to get one please give me a holler and we'll get you a monster.

TMS,
Everything is bigger in Texas, especially Corsican ram nuts! Lol

I was thinking of buying them (sheep) some of these

@Bullthrower338 , that reminds me of a story. I heard my son talking to a clients son from Texas, my son says to the Texas lad, my dad's ranch is so big, if we leave at sunrise, it takes us until lunch time to drive around the boundary....the Texas lad says thats nothing, if we leave at sunrise on my dad's ranch, it takes us until sunset to drive around the boundary...my son thinks for awhile and then answers...."I can't help your dad drives such a crappy pickup....":cry:

Texas Dall and the Alaskan sheep have no relation whatsoever other than they are both sheep and both white. TheTexas sheep were developed by taking several different sheep species and breeding for white color and horn configuration. The idea was to develop a poor mans Dall which they did. In the winter the develope a huge mane in their chest that is quite striking. It's the same thing with black Hawaiian, Corsican, painted dessert. Now Jacobs four horn, merino/ Rambo Rams are two of the oldest living sheep species on earth. The Jacobs dates back to the ice age. Mouflon, Catalina goats, Angora goats etc... Are all original sheep species from different parts of the world. There are many others such as Aoudad etc.... Maybe I should post a deal on the sheep of Texas.

I have a little over 1200 acres and a section (unit of measurement, means a mile squared) of which holds sheep. This can kinda give you an idea of where we hunt them.

If you are looking for a alpine sheep hunt this is not it, it's a completely different type of hunting but still very challenging and rewarding.

I guess i am asking, how often would i be staring at a fence? I love the look of the property but just like with my future africa hunt id like it to feel like a real hunt. If that makes sense. I've done a small "cage" hunt for pigs before and turned me off pretty quickly.

We are not high fenced, there are fences for cattle but we are low fenced. Please feel free to call me or pm me also take a look at my website. There is a ton of information on it.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
