We went with Kuche this last August. It was a great time and made me want to go back! We just booked our second trip in May next year, but with Crusader Safaris. Nothing wrong with Kuche, I think they do a great job of getting people to come to hunt, and get that little taste, but I am really looking forward to free range hunting on the Eastern Cape.

You will have a great time! And if Quintin is your PH, you will not be disappointed!

I’m in a similar boat. Just used Gracy to book IAD-DBX-HRE. A night at amazi lodge then the charter to the safari area for a day of fishing on the Zambezi then 10 days in Dande North.

Out return has a 19 hour layover in Dubai and we are going to take advantage of the tour excursion offered by Emirates.

Citi lodge breakfast buffet is excellent, please try the oomas crunchies for me and have therm build you an omelet with baked beans in it. It will be too long before I get back there!

Now I am just trying to save up as much as possible just in case the bush decides to provide a little more than anticipate.

I went with the naive idea that I was just going to hunt what was included in the package... oh, I was wrong. Ended up with 7 animals, 6 shoulder mounts, and a zebra flat skin... Give yourself about $10k for animals, and another $5k for taxidermy (not counting shipping back). But with only having to pay half for taxidermy, until completed about 18-24 months later, gives you some time to save for that second half!
