Thank goodness I’m not the only one who accepts being a miss’er of game. Distinctly different that the Monsieur of game, a title some profess but many doubt.
Re you being Misser RLP, it ain't necessarily a bad thing. I always said, "If I don't shoot it, I don't have to clean it." Or for Africa " ... I don't have to have to pay for it." Unfortunately, my hands seem to get bloody a lot anyway. I'm a master gutter who hunts with novices. Or they pretend to be novices. My brother has been hunting longer than me (and this is my sixtieth year in the field) so I'm pretty sure it's an act. But I love the guy.
I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,
Gary [redacted]
Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
