Wondering how bad the tsetse flies will be?
. One question for anyone who may know, I have a good friend who is Canadian. Do you think it would be possible to have him import my ivory there for me to get at a later date when the U.S. comes to it's senses?........... .

Jim,
I have hunted in the Lupane RDC and the Umguza RDC and never seen a tsetse fly. Not saying they aren't in some areas of the RDC, just not where I was.
All the best on the hunt if you do it.
Mrpoindexter, are you doing this hunt as well? If so, when are you going? I will be there 3/10 - 3/20.Now I just need to get in better physical shape. How much walking per day should one expect?

Wheels, thanks for the info. That is great news. I am doing the hunt. Have my airline tickets already. BTW what did you hunt while there?
I hope to see a Leopard. I would definitely shoot a good one. Hope for a nice tusker. Hope I can walk as much as I need to.Took two elephant and a leopard.
You won't see much pg in those two DC's. Definitely an elephant area. Leopard is a possibility. Probably a decent chance at hyena and croc. I know nothing about the Kusile RDC.
Thanks, really looking forward to it.Jim congratz on getting this hunt. It was offered at a very good price. Look forward to reading your hunt report. Have a great time!
I seriously doubt mine will be anywhere near as eloquent as Bob's, but I will do my best. I will try to write a few things down each day so I can put them in chronological order.Looking forward to both reports of @Jim Rea and @mrpoindexter ! We will be living vicariously through you guys on these hunts
