He looked a lot better playing ring around the pine trees with a doe. I had about 10 seconds. Oh well it was all fun.

I don't know why I have to post pictures separately now.....

A wonderful rifle! Thank you for posting the pic. Prime eating . . .

I'm hoping you will enjoy the inside tenderloins (thinly cut and seasoned) for breakfast this morning with a couple of eggs, toast and hot coffee. Well done and a beautiful rifle.

Beautiful deer and beautiful rifle.

Beautiful rifle. I’m guessing there is a hole in that deer underneath the rifle. Otherwise it looks like he died of fright.

Perhaps the buck swooned at the thought of being shot with such a classic outfit! :giggle:

LOL.......thanks guys.
Very tiny entrance in the upper shoulder and about a 3/8" hole on the offside.....DRT.

I'm always thankful for the encounters afield and in your case you were able to continue a proud tradition with something so elegant. If only in the brief moment of recoil, the rifle could tell us its story; what a moment to be alive that would be.

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
