SCI Mobilizes Members to Reverse Airline Shipping Bans - UPDATE: More Airlines Added

Delta was the only one I was able to open....the other two respond with "no file found".

Barryk please try one of the other links inside the article for the other two airlines.

It appears to me the links you chose are broken.

I've sent a message to huntforever.org so they will be aware.

Thanks for the heads up.

Yes, I was able to use the other links. Thanks, Thomas for posting this.....hope it does us some good.

Sent mine of course. Everyone here knows how much faith I've lost in SCI and DSC because of their slow response. Damage done I'm afraid.

All three sent, thank you for posting.

Sent the following email to everyone in my address book and I hope everyone else does the same.

If you haven't already, please join me in sending letters to the airlines urging them to reverse their trophy transport policy and resume carrying legally hunted trophies.
Click on the link below, all you have to do is fill in a couple fields and hit send. Ten seconds is all it takes.
Please do this for the future of hunting.
Thanks

So did I Ed. Kinda curious why that happened.

I have only flown Delta to Africa (twice). Business is like politics. Form letters are generally ignored, email better, typed and signed better still, pen and ink the gold standard.

I logged into my Delta account and left this in the feedback with a response requested.

"As you can see from my file I have traveled to Africa twice with you and will be traveling again May 2016.

Sadly Delta has chosen to stop transporting legally harvested animals because of an emotional explosion devoid of scientific fact in the twitterverse.

I trust that your hasty decision to deny transport of legally harvested animals will be reversed. If not as much as I enjoy flying Delta I will be taking all my future business to a more hunter friendly airline.

Sincerely"

All three and posted the link on FB.

response from Delta, seems it is being pushed up the line

Dear Brian,

RE: Case Number 17131106

Thank you for your email to Delta. We are grateful for you taking the
time to share your thoughts with us.

Delta has banned the shipment of all lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros
and buffalo trophies worldwide as freight. Prior to this ban, Delta's
strict acceptance policy called for absolute compliance with all
government regulations regarding protected species. Delta will also
review the acceptance policies for other hunting trophies with the
appropriate government agencies and other organizations that support
legal shipments.

We value customer feedback and appreciate you taking the time to contact
us. We understand your feelings surrounding this issue, and we are
grateful you took the time to let us know how our actions have been
perceived. Your concerns have been reported to the appropriate
leadership for internal review.

We appreciate your selection of Delta and will always welcome the
opportunity to be of service.

Sincerely,

Robert Gonsalves

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.

I read your thread with interest. Would you mind sending me that PDF? May I put it on my website?
