My outfitter has a acquired a rare take for one mature Leopard in the Waterberg Park in Namibia. There is a chance in the area to take a true monster, the park has an extremely large population of cats and hunting pressure has been nearly zero for the past few years.

The outfitter is a very well known and accomplished PH, guiding dangerous game hunts for many years. He is a good friend and a very accomplished PH, I would not hesitate to do this hunt personally.

Available months for this Leopard hunt are August, October and November.

The Leopard hunt is all in 14 days, pick up and return, baits, meals, lodge guide, license tag, ect.
Not included is airfare, tips, alcohol, dip/pack and shipping.

Plains game is available as will some additional quota in the park if you are interested.
The lodge is a nice comfortable lodge, but not super fancy.

The hunt is priced at $19,000 all in.

I know there is a good Leopard population just down the c22 from the park.

This hunt is actually in the Plateau park?

No doubt.

Hope someone can leap on this hunt. Gorgeous country.

What would the regular (non-discounted) rate be on this hunt?

Thanks, but I should have been more specific. What is the regular rate on THIS hunt and why is it discounted? Or is it being sold as a less - expensive option to other hunts?

refund amount if no cat. they will ask

@The Artistry of Wildlife refund is $8,000 if no cat taken.

@K-man its short notice and the permits need to be utilized or they could lose them. The outfitters regular rate on this hunt in an adjacent area is 30K. This is going to be a top shelf hunt for a big cat. There is another outfitter working in an adjacent area on the plateau the name starts with an "O" their hunt is almost 40K. I don't thinks this is a second class hunt but a chance for a deal. If we could book it a year in advance I'm sure he would price it at over $30K.

I think this hunt represents a great value for dollar, lots of leopard in the area and some big ones, as well as a chance to hunt where not many can anymore. The price is reduced but its not a cheap hunt.

Quality hunt for sure!

Got it. Thanks for the explanation. Sounds like a great hunt.

Wish I had an extra 20 grand laying around, but the Mega-millions fell through, lol....Good luck it sounds like a fabulous hunt.

Reduced? $19,000, YIKES!

19,000 is pretty darn good ...no S A leopard hunting yet, when they do one it's going to be 25-30k and up. Zim is 25-35 K+ and results are fare, 50/50. Zambia Just opened up and the 2016 hunts are going to be 25-30K+ and up...if I wasn't leaving for Zambia in 7 weeks I'd be all over this but I just got a hunt in area that was closed for 3 years and I'll be only the second guy in for leopard in 3 1/2 years...No lion imports....where do you think the competition is now...Leopard are the new lion hunts...it all about supply and demand.. I would be very surprised with a 8k refund there is any way they this outfitter is going to give that up....This is an area cats move in the day, no pressure and they are not as wary as Zim Cats or S A cats that are hunted hard and pressure from locals to kill them off..

James, send me an email to discuss. I'll be in the Caprivi in October for elephant and I may have time for this under the right circumstances.

Chris

I agree with Dennis, with current supply and demand, and this being in an area where there is low hunting pressure and lots of cats(I am choosing to believe the guys who know the area and what they have said) this is a pretty good deal. Not to mention the unrest in ZIM right now

Great deal for a leopard and a wonderful area.

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,

Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
