Pre-64 Model 70 Winchestet Custom 7mm Rem Mag Lightweight

Any buyers before I move this to Guns International?
It may not last long there on the open market...

To the top for a lightweight 7mm Rem Mag Pre-64 Model 70 Winchester...

I handled this rifle last night. It mounts more like a gouse gun (shotgun) than a magnum rifle!

Would you consider just selling the stock?
Thanks for bumping this threat to the top but from my first post:

"Serious inquiries or questions please contact me via Direct Message.
I will provide my phone number if you desire to discuss."

The stock alone is worth $2500. That's what the stock work would cost plus the cost of the wood.

This rifle shipped is $2900.

I was asked about the chamber of this Pre-64 Model 70 in 7mm Rem Mag.

The action was manufactured in 1960, and the 7mm Rem Mag was not commercially available until 1962. Further, to my knowledge, Winchester never chambered any Model 70 in this cartridge until after all the Pre-64's were produced.

This rifle has a barrel made after 1963. My guess is that the rifle was built on a 1960 action sometime in the last 10 or may even 20 years. The wood is not "dark" in any area as can happen over time...

This Pre-64 Model 70, 7mm Rem Mag is not only beautiful but also a very light carry all day rifle.

I will lower the price to $2,900 shipped.

Come on guys :)

Very nice rifle and beautiful stock. If it was a faster twist rate barrel I would have had a heard time saying no

Sir, I will gladly take that 16 gauge off your hands. I was waiting for your Winchesters but I'm a sucker for a 16 ga.

I bought a great deal of the brass he had for sale, plus I already had many hundred rounds.

How much brass are you looking for?
