Any thoughts on what to do with the spent brass you took an animal with? Reloading is an obvious choice, but was thinking about maybe a shadow box or a display of some kind. Maybe each one with the trophy pic?
I have a friend who, for each trip, drilled holes and tied them together and keeps them on his desk. He’s getting a pretty good collection.
Gracias!

Special ones I engraved with a Dremel tool and put on a shelf in my gun room. I admired the first ones for a time. But then they became a nuisance because, I accumulated too many - and after all, they're just empty casings. I got rid of them all in the recycling bin. I may have been happier if I'd only saved one or two.

You could inset them on the trophy shield, I've seen others turned into cuff links too. Agree with the above post, after a while they accumulate and become a nuisance, unless they have particular sentimental value.

I have a friend who has them displayed on a shelf made from barn wood, and he puts in a Dollar inside them. The important ones I have, just have a date and the animal taken, written with a Sharpie.

I do the same-sharpie on each one with the date, bullet type, shot distance, species, location and outfitter/ph if there was one.
Mine reside in a glass fronted display case, the insides of which admittedly resemble something from the lair of “the Collector.”

I have mine, as I will not reload brass that has harvested an animal (superstition on my part).

Nothing displayed as of yet, but they are kept, at least from my one & only Africa trip.

I have my sons first whitetail deer skull mount on a plaque with the brass gorilla glued underneath it on the plaque, with a small plate that has the date, place and his name engraved. Did the same for my nephew's first animal, also a whitetail. Cheers

One day I’ll use the bases of my old Brendan primed Kynoch brass for jacket buttons.
Having two flash holes, the Brendan bases are perfect to sew on.
I think it would be cool to have a nice jacket with 500 Nitro brass buttons!

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
