Not so much a younger candidate, but one that could win. My fear is that if Trump were to get the nomination, that it would be a blowout loss regardless who the demtards nominate.
Todays actions shows that the demtards fear just the opposite.

Playing 3-D chess, I think the Dems are using this to push Trump to run in 2024 as they feel they have a better chance against him.

Viewing the lessons of Afghanistan, A strategic analysis of the continental US geography would include a determination of what areas would be difficult for an adversarial government to maintain surveillance, limited mechanized access, and inability to control resources. I suspect the FBI/IRS/etc have already "war-gamed" this out, so I wonder what a FOIA request would net.

I have always loved the "Task" given Eisenhower upon taking command of the European Theater of Operations in February of 1944. Rather a host of not mentioned and yet to be determined associated "tasks" not detailed. And exactly the way to run such a vast operation. Delegate to the best man available.

It seems that the Democrats are in a lose-lose predicament. If they have to engineer going up against their worst nightmare in order to have a chance of winning, that in itself could be played by an astute RNC to ensure Trump wins. If Trump did lose, it is likely that the Republicans would still take the house and the senate anyway - Dem far left wing policies are just unpopular, period and they can't seem to shirk them. If trump doesn't stand it is likely the Republican candidate will win. And if Trump does stand and wins it is also highly likely the Republicans would take the house and the Senate too.
it is almost as if the Dems are divided upon strategy - on the one hand attack Trump in the hopes it will make him ineligible, and the other side realising that unfairness in their action could boost him and harm them. The raid has started the slide for them.
Tough times for Dems, they made their bed, now they must sleep in it.
All Trump needs to do now is keep calm and play the persecuted victim. And if going forward Trump is nominated by the Republicans all he needs to do to ensure a win is tone down his rhetoric and talk unity around some winning strategies.

The Democrats are facing some significant problems. The fringe groups such as Black Lives Matter and Antifa have extorted support from corporations much like Al Sharpton did on a smaller scale, claiming support me or I'll call you a racist. The radicals in the Democrat party allied themselves with BLM/A, got the MSM to support their views to the extent that the Democrat party has utilized the radical viewpoints as the party platform.
The problem with this is that a significant number of Democrats do not agree with the radical viewpoints- these Democrats go by the names FDR Democrats or JFK Democrats; they remember phrases such as Ask what you can do for your country. The what's in it for me claim of the Squad applied to a portion of the party, but just a portion. So it is a party divided.
What's an old line Democrat to do? Start a new party? Join the Republicans? How things go in Nov and also in 2024 will give the answer.

"Trump voluntarily turned over a box of documents, some of which were classified, so he MIGHT be in possession of more classified documents?" Pretty weak PC if you ask me.

The way I see it, this is a BIG problem for the DOJ and this warrant/raid. Trump VOLUNTARILY gave the National Archives documents they requested, classified or not. Did the DOJ ASK Trump for Russia Gate documents if that's truly what they wanted? This entire thing stinks to high heaven.
