Politics

I was merely pointing out the double standards and hypocrisy involved. If a poor man gets killed, his family would be lucky if it made the 6 o’clock evening news so police could ask for witnesses and Assistance. A rich, C-suite exec is killed, and it makes the national news for a week straight, along with a nationwide manhunt. And here we are 2 years later still talking about it.

A death, is a death, is a death, as far as Im concerned. The guy that got killed was an executive of a large health insurance company, one that denied treatment at a higher rate than any other. Yet you do no mention/care nothing for those that suffered and died by decisions he made. To me, that type of behavior is also morally depraved (as @rookhawk put it)

“If extra-judicial killings were sanctioned and allowed I think liberals would be on the losing end of it.”

Another, in a long line of wild guesses.

If your car insurance doesn't cover uninsured motorists, do we then assume a murder of the GEICO CEO or their lizard is justified?

Health insurance is a voluntary transaction. (semi-voluntary thanks to your vote for Obamacare). A.) You don't have to buy crappy insurance. B.) You can have an emergency fund to buy care above and beyond your insurance coverages. C.) You can opt to be less unhealthy to avoid these costs...this one is hypocrisy because I haven't made the choice yet to be extra healthy, but I own my bad choices.

I actually suspect I would have a 50/50 chance of either beating big easy to a pulp, or take a liking to him if I met him in person. He seems like a lost Milleniall writhing in hopelessness. First step, stop being a victim, second step, get a job from someone on this forum that mentors you. With gainful employment and hope, he may not be so much of a commie.

I say this with sincere kindness and no animus. You have spent way too much of your valuable time angry at the prosperity of others and it has put you into a circular thought pattern that will take you nowhere. If you used your energies to find a good or service of benefit to your fellow man with no sense of entitlement you'd grow rich and make the world a better place for everyone.

Shows how stupid she is. I was anticipating her to win 140% of the vote. We visit "the cities" very infrequently but it is our local major metro. I'm here to tell you it is nothing but a shell of its former self. White people don't go there. African Americans do not go there. Hmong do not go there. It is now little Mogadishu.

My friends that are white liberals from Wayzata had to sell their commercial investment properties because "ninjas and zombies" (I'll let you decipher) would invade their building's terrace that was rented for cocktail parties.

Democracy does not work, it does not work even faster when people can create votes out of thin air, much less gerrymander the one heartbeat-one vote drones with no skin in the game.

Jefferson and Adams are rolling in their graves.
Speaking of shells of towns , just about any town in Texas that TDCJ built a prison is now like a west African city, they went and recruited all the prisons staff of CO’s from
Nigeria , Sierra Loen , ect ( mainly Nigeria)
Those towns are now unlivable ( unless you are used to living in Western Africa)
Crazy Texas would be willing to ruin a community of conservative small town for mayhem and chaos, corruption

What towns are you taking about? I’ve been to about every South Texas town with a prison. I certainly do not see that.

But what if I paid for the uninsured motorist coverage and they still deny my claim? That’s a better example. You Pay your insurance premiums every month for decades, and then the one time you need it they decide not to pay out because they know that fighting/stonewalling you will ultimately lead to greater profits for them. Now apply that example to your wife, or your children, instead of a distracted, uninsured motorist rear ending you.

What would you do to guarantee that the insurance you paid for, for decades, actually pays out when you have a legitimate, covered claim, while your loved one lays suffering in a hospital bed.
A.) You don't have to buy crappy insurance. L
You’re assuming that all those people that were denied coverage had crappy insurance policies.
B.) You can have an emergency fund to buy care above and beyond your insurance coverages.
Ahh Yes, the Republican fallacy of a health savings account or emergency fund for medical treatment. I’ve never known anyone that had a health savings account that could pay for an organ transplant, or years of cancer treatments, or a traumatic brain injury.
C.) You can opt to be less unhealthy to avoid these costs.
Not every bad health outcome is self induced.

So many assumptions. But I will award you 1 point for correctly guessing Millennial.

Most of the contributors to this politics thread seem like a nightmare to work for. I’ve worked for far-right bosses before. They weren't big believers in math or logic either.

More name calling because you cant win an argument based on merits.

Thinking that rich people should pay more in taxes isn’t being angry at the prosperity of others. That’s just another right wing assumption/delusion. My abilities have taken me pretty far already.

What are you talking about? I’m doing exactly that right now. I’m doing the Lord’s work by battling all of these right-wing, bat-shit crazy conspiracy theories and nonsense. It ain’t much, but it’s honest work.

Doing the Lord's work for the Democrat party of Satan.....LOL
You really are full of shit.

In the CCW classes I had to take in CA for many years (renews every 2 years and requires 16 hours) I can't recall any liberals to be in the class.

So, I'd say my guess would not be that wild. Majority of hunters, gun owners and veterans are not liberal either. Ask AI if you doubt it about political leanings of gun owners and veterans.

Heck, if you guys get PTSD from firing an AR I'd say conservatives have a leg up.

There’s plenty. Suggest you look at the Socialist Rifle Association.

I wonder of @Big_Easy belongs.

I will defer that to Kile Rittenhouse and the right to stand your ground laws
Libratards can get pretty violent after they get past their Karen stage
And
I’m kinda torn about the killing of the criminal CEO of united Healthcare
Denial of pain relief surgery and other treatments by insurance providers can make you go insane.

On the other hand, political conservatives tend to also be the side that values innocent life, law and order, and objective morality. They may support harsher and swifter punishment but that’s reserved for criminals. Conservatives weren’t very sympathetic to the woman shot by ICE but it wasn’t because they disagreed with her but because she was perceived to be a lawbreaker suffering the consequences of her own choices.

Then I see leftists celebrating the deaths of others simply because they don’t like them. I’ve seen them say that Charlie Kirk deserved to die because of what he said, the insurance CEO deserved to die because of his job, that someone should “do something” about Trump because his tweets are mean.

Whats the different from the 2nd to the "socialist Rifle association". The 2nd should grant all americans right to bear arms. Are there social classes of americans that should be excluded for the 2nd rights?..

I saw Wyoming became the first state to reinstate all gun and voting rights to nonviolent felons who served their sentence.
I don’t believe we had laws against anyone regardless of crime in America before 1968 if they served their sentence.

That’s a matter of opinion, ;)
I had some crazy green wiener earth huger with a gun come up to my truck and ask me if I had thrown a cigarette butt out the window, I had no clue what he was up to, so I said “ask the guy in the back seat “ and roll down the window , and when he stuck his head in the window my dog bit him a couple times in the face pretty good ! Before i drove off , I don’t think crazy liberals should be brandishing a weapon be it a pistol or a skateboard, mental illness should exclude people from owning firearms.
California agrees with me as they have strict laws because seems everyone there is mentally ill imo and the states opinion

I don’t think his post made any suggestions as to who should or shouldn’t have 2A rights.

Ironically however, according to that article, the SRA apparently doesn’t endorse the 2A.

Socialists always divide human beings into classes, primary what Marx called the Bourgeois and Proletariat. Lenin and Stalin called anyone who owned land a Kulak.

All Socialists divide by class, race, social status, etc , and then assign rights and privileges accordingly.

In their theories and in practice, Socialists have always been frauds.

Well first of all thats a small self-selected sample size. Secondly, every time I go to the gun range, or to gun shows, I’m in character. Always.

I always agree with the carnival barkers from the NRA asking if Im a member. Even though Im not, and would never be part of that clown show. Every interaction is always in character as just another smooth brained right-wing knuckle dragger. I always just smile and agree with all the guys that talk about how president blacken-stein and his minority army were going to confiscate all of our guns, and cancel the election in the fall (of 2016), and enslave us all.

Id never reveal myself in a place like that. I just smile and nod. Just like every one of my liberal, gun owning friends. We all know the drill. We don’t share our beliefs unless we’re among fellow like minded individuals. I suspect since your class was in CA, that several of those guys knew the deal, just not you.

The liberal hive mind certainly has its share of cowards

What about Alex Pretti. I see you conveniently left him out. He was protecting a woman from being sprayed in the face with a chemical weapon for exercising her first amendment rights; by an ICE agent, who then disarmed him, before they executed him. I heard very little from the right regarding this disgusting conduct by ICE. But then again, you all disagreed with him politically, so no big deal right.
Then I see leftists celebrating the deaths of others simply because they don’t like them. I’ve seen them say that Charlie Kirk deserved to die because of what he said,
I saw plenty of right-wing talking heads make shit up about Alex Pretti to justify his execution, many facebook warriors claimed that he deserved it. The right doesn't really have a moral leg to stand on. Most political violence for the past 40 years has been from the right anyways.
the insurance CEO deserved to die because of his job
Actions and words are different, don't conflate the two.
