All the literature and studies clearly proved that the risk of cardiac complications from full blown COVID far far and away exceeded the extremely low risk associated with vaccine side effect. So which way do you want to roll the dice, RFK Jr?

During just one weekend more Americans succumbed to COVID than influenza over THE PREVIOUS THREE YEARS! And most were not vaccinated. Consider yourself lucky you were not allowed to roll the dice. Because getting infected meant you were rolling the dice for everyone else around you. THAT was the real "crime."

All of the literature and studies? Hardly.

Once again a self proclaimed PhD speaks from a position of being uninformed or simply full of bullshit and expect people believe it just because he says so.

Some literature supports that. A lot of literature supports the opposite. Numerous studies demonstrate that erroneous decisions made during COVID actually exposed people to greater risk. And cardiac problems were certainly not the only complications and/or causes of death associated with the virus or the vaccines.

Some of the mistakes made can be attributed to just being mistakes… things were moving fast and no one fully understood what they were dealing with.. and it’s a reasonable position that doing something, even if it ends up being a mistake, is better than doing nothing at all…

Other mistakes however that can be attributed by funny enough other phd’s and MDs selling what they knew to be bullshit and lies just because they could… should be held to account..

This is interesting. Tough sell I would think. Why would anyone want pay extra to see quicker what Trump posts on his Truth Social? Just as well wait a day or so. By then he will either delete the post or unsay whatever he said. :D :D

But I'm sure Brent has already written his cheque.
I'm sure you are on truth social daily along with the rest of the Anti Trump Borg hive mind.. Sniveling, whining, and spreading your toxic leftist spew. Just like you do here, along with a few of the other insufferable frauds.

No. President is a federal employee and he is immune from state prosecution if the crime is committed while he is in office.

I know it's hard for you to wrap your head around it but just maybe Trump did break the law in NY. I mean, it's not like he doesn't lie to everyone on a regular basis. Like his genius IQ (pfft!), faithful to his wives, election fraud in Georgia, vandalism of Lincoln pool, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc ...

Sometimes I think Trump could tell you dog shit is tuna fish and you'd be out in the back yard with a scoop shovel to mix up a casserole for tonight's dinner.
Not during the 4 years he wasn't president, Captain Clueless.
I know it's hard for you to wrap your head around anything, since derangement has long since taken control of your delusional Trump infused tiny mind, but the NY trial was a joke and a setup. Anyone with intelligence can see that. Not you, but anyone with intelligence, which seems to be in pretty short supply in your world.

NY trial was a joke and a setup.
No one is agreeing or disagreeing with it being a setup. I brought it up only to point out that the State of NY had standing to prosecute Trump for crime(s) committed in the State prior to becoming POTUS the first time.

Unlike Fauci situation where no State really has any standing to prosecute him for performing his Federal job.

What's really interesting is that none of Trump sycophants that are so anti-vaccine are criticizing Trump for Operation Warp Speed and taking credit for the Covid vaccine development. They used to call Clinton the Teflon president, Trump is Teflon++.

A clear case of the Supremacy clause in the Constitution.
How could that be a case of the Supremacy Clause?

The issue is not "did they or did they not follow guidance?" Clearly the guidance was followed (note guidance is not the same as law, which is where the Supremacy Clause comes to play). The issue is "was guidance fraudulently given?"

Did he provide "Formal Recommendations" which colored the decision making process that led to State requirements/directives (requirements that have no federal authority whatsoever) that he knew were not based on fact?

Think of it this way: Your company makes a widget, using materials purchased from various vendors. You sell it as fit for purpose, based on documents provided by one of your vendors that certify engineering specifications. The thing is, they don't actually meet those specifications. If those were sent to you without knowing they were defective, that's one thing. But if the vendor sent them, knowing full well they were not to the specs, that's a whole different thing entirely.

Operation warp speed poison? ......or the biggest placebo ever,?
Big Pharma probably made gazillions, and no doubt Faucis big Pharma friends gave him a nice kickback.
Remember when Fauci and the leftist flying monkey's scoffed at Ivermectin?
COVID was a giant shit show, and lots of people died

Well said sir!

I had a terrible lung infection at the time that was caused by a non operational air filtration in a shop; I was told if I got COVID with my lungs being in such shape I would dead.

So, I got vaccinated and because of the “virus ends with you” lies and “if you get the shot you won’t get sick!” Bullshit I went about my life not knowing that I could have gotten a lethal result as the effect of believing LIES!

In my opinion, funding that lab through a sub grant to hide funding after Obama banned gain of research should be grounds for sedition; and damn sure demonstrates how a career bureaucrat knew how to work the system from decades of doing the same.

My comment was in response to below not about Fauci statements. Also, again Fauci was not the one making the regulations in HHS etc.. And guidance and regulations are for implementation of the law. A single line of Federal law could have hundreds of pages of regulations that have the power of that law by Federal agencies. EPA is famous for stretching the hell of it.
You know, like you could lose your State Medical or Nursing license if you didn't follow the federal guidelines? Enquiring minds want to know.

That was all Trump, he was even taking victory laps for it.

As you know, I’m no Trump apologist. However, I really don’t hold this against him. He believed Fauci and others and actually did a heck of a job mobilizing all available resources toward a common goal. Unfortunately, it was the wrong target, but I really can’t fault him for that. He has no expertise in the area and had to rely on his experts, the chief of which turned out to be a lying sack of crap.

Of course you do. You weren’t there.
Were you? Is that your standard, you have to "be there" to have an informed opinion?

You may as well shut down this whole thread right now then.

Finally, there is no international body or court, to include the ICC, that the United States recognizes as having any jurisdiction over any American uniformed combatants. This frankly has less to do with the dangers of an international institution running amok, though that may be changing, than in assuring uniformed members of the armed forces have the full protections of the US constitution. In practical terms, it also leaves the US in a self-policing role where guidance can shift with changing international context and strategic interests. Post 9/11 is an excellent example. The US has also, when in its national interests demanded it, supported temporary tribunals such as Nuremburg or the CTY.
Neither Russia, nor China recognize the ICC either. Fine company. It doesn't mean that Putin is not committing war crimes in Ukraine, it just means there is no current enforcement mechanism.

Most people don't realize how the ICC works. It only intervenes when a country is unwilling or unable to investigate and discipline members of its own military. The United States is perfectly capable and has proven itself willing to police it's own. There is no need for the ICC to police the United States.

The United States has always been the leader in developing the International Law of Armed Combat, and is a signatory to the 4th Convention provisions on both occupation and targeting civilians. They have made a few exceptions and reservations, but so have many other nations.

Nuremburg was a hodge-podge mess. But it was the American attempt to impose judicial order on warfare, which it has always been in favour of.

Of course none of that relevant to the factual question as to whether or not Israel has committed war crimes in Gaza. And I don't actually anyone suggesting (in this discussion) that the U.S. has committed any unresolved war crimes.

Amen,

Trump was the 6th president of 7 that Fauci served under going back all the way to Reagan; anyone in Trumps position would have relied on someone with decades experience in the same department and NOT get canned by a previous administration would be a solid non political source of FACTS and reason when critical decisions had to be made.

Little did Trump know he was dealing with a man that had back door funded the lab after Obama banned what he was doing; and I can’t believe Fauci would be so naive to think the Chinese wouldn’t be using this research to develop bio weapons that would be used on American and or European soil.

So, the buck doesn't stop there?

I am not faulting Trump either by the way, but it is disingenuous to blame Fauci for vaccines (not that I am convinced it was a bad thing) and not the guy that actually implemented it. Without Trump's buy-in there would have been no vaccine here in the USA.

Well, my mother (3 boosters) and I (1 booster) did get vaccinated and did not get sick. Though, I must admit if it was not required to enter Zimbabwe and other countries I probably would not have gotten the vaccine.

My partner did get Covid while paddleboarding the fjords of Norway, but she had almost no symptoms, slight fever for a couple of days. For two weeks she was at the guest wing of the house so she would not give it to me and it worked.

I think one thing people were saying about the vaccine at the end was that it would not prevent getting Covid, but would make the symptoms milder.

Who knows!!!

I am sorry, but your comments add what to my post?

With respect to the ICC, the US really doesn't care whether it or you believe we can "police our own" since we do not recognize its authority or your opinion for that matter.

I was not addressing anyone's perception of whether or not Israel has committed war crimes. It was not the subject of my post. Should you be interested in my opinion, I personally believe that Israel had the right to exercise whatever level of force they believed was necessary after October 7. It was HAMAS that initiated the rules of that engagement - not Israel. Should the remnants of HAMAS indeed disarm and the Gaza strip remain non-threatening for even a generation, I would argue the response achieved its objectives. One can hope the Palestinians will choose better representation in the future.

Special Friends there. It’s over your head. You wouldn’t believe the first hand stories about those poor “civilians”. Unspeakable.
