It’s befuddling how real stories like Swalwell and Fang Fang can disappear like they never happened.

You’ve gotta love that Schiff and the rest of his CA clan are rapidly distancing themselves from him now that the scandal is in the open…

But had no problem staying snuggled up to him full well knowing his philandering nature, despite being married for the last 10 years..

It’s not like it’s a secret that he likes to take female staffers out drinking, behaves inappropriately, etc..

The only revelation coming out now is this particular staffer claims she got so drunk on a couple of occasions that she lacked the ability to consent and therefore was sexually assaulted…

I guess Schiff and the rest of DCs eyes it was ok for him to be fucking around on his wife with staffers… he didn’t cross a line until they got too drunk to consent… only then did he become a “bad” guy…

Katie Porter has had the information for years. She was falling behind in the Governor race and determined this week was the time to pull the pin on the grenade.

Swalwells condemnations during the Kavanaugh hearings come to mind. It’s always humorous to watch people who live in glass houses play with rocks.
I might take those claims more serious if it came from someone other than that bitch (and I am being polite).

I do find it funny that both Swalwell and Porter are originally from Iowa… but are both CA politicians now.. are are busy trying to ruin one another lol

So just getting caught up on a few pages but some thoughts.

How weird is that Europeans are cheering or encouraging the military build up Germany.

The other thing is the millennial vs boomer discussion. I think a lot of people forget that millennials are now in their 40s or late 30s. They are grown, most have careers and as some of the boomers have pointed out through the accomplishments of their kids, doing a lot of great things. Is it time we blame Gen Z?

Also Stawell and Porter have seemed like pretty terrible human beings for a long time, regardless of politics they just seem like bad people, it would be nice if they could fade away.

The Germany of today is nothing like the Germany of the 1930s and 40s if that was what you are implying?

With two Democratic Congresswomen currently under indictment they aren’t calling for his resignation from the House however.

We don’t want you running for Governor because if this came out in October we are screwed but still need you in the House so keep your pants zipped.

Fang Fang gone gone

It would be nice if there were federal investigations regarding Fang Fang and the Awan brothers but I’m not holding my breath.

My problem with federal investigations is that they end up not doing anything. Whitness are asked to show up but nothing happens when they don't. The investigation finds facts or evidence against whoever but do much more than slap them on the hand and tell them not to do it anymore.

When was the last time that a federal investigation actually ended up with someone actually being punished?

I don’t think the “living wage” discussion is a “blame” thing so much as an observation…

To be truthful I don’t hear the Gen Z crowd crowing much about living wages… I pretty much exclusively hear that from millennials…

I’ve got 3 Gen Z daughters for example (all in their early to mid 20’s)… they very much acknowledge they need to work more if they want more… understand that “roommates” are pretty much the standard if you want a decent house to live in before you’ve made your way in life far enough to get paid better, etc etc.. their attitude is far more “Gen X” like than many of the millennials out there (if not most)…

You don’t hear “living wage” from them… what you hear is “I’ve got to hustle if I want a nice car”…

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the two older ones both have primary jobs and secondary jobs right now (both fresh out of undergraduate studies), and the youngest has a 20 hour a week job while still a full time student… and none are bitching about it (much like Gen X)

I agree with that, but still kind of wild, Europeans saying we need Germany to build up its troops to provide defense for us.

I mean Germany would have the biggest military, biggest manufacturing base and biggest GDP of all European Union countries.

Like historically speaking it is kind of wild.

I guess it is just different circles, Im a millennial and my friends only really complain about taxes, and realize minimum wage is basically a gimmick because it raises the cost of living, and the cycle continues.

Gen Z (though I agree doesnt really bitch) but also doesnt really seem that motivated to climb the corporate ladder and is more focused on well being than financial goals/results. I do a lot of career coaching with Gen Z and find them to be very focused just very green (and that means even carrying a basic conversation).

Actually read an article somewhere that Millennial woman are preferring to date Gen Z men because essentially they dont bitch so much and dont seem to be as career growth at all cost focus. I found it interesting until one of the women mentioned her recent date with Gen Z man, he was telling her how he went to an alcohol free kimono wearing rave to help address his childhood trauma and I immediately said nope, fuck that.

Understand where you’re coming from in Congressional investigations.

DOJ investigations tend to have resolutions. At least when they are held in jurisdictions that aren’t bright blue juries.

I’m still hopeful regarding many of the cases that occurred during Trump 45. You may be correct however. If indictments or pleas don’t start happening by the end of 2026 I will say you are correct.

I agree, its a weird new world, this article was a good read on the subject https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cvge7r31989o and these quotes from the article would seem to describe the general feeling in europe surrounding a german rearmament quite well:

"....the Polish Foreign Minister Radoslav Sikorski went to Berlin and made a speech which, given the memory of Nazi Germany's occupation of Poland, surprised many of the German diplomats who made up his audience.

"I fear German power less than I am beginning to fear German inactivity," he said, describing Germany as Europe's "indispensable nation".

German rearmament is "good news for Poland, for Europe and for Nato," the retired Polish General Andrzek Falkowski, a former Deputy Chief of the Polish armed forces, told me. He also spent 12 years in senior roles at Nato headquarters."

Interesting, as most Millennial single guys I know are dating Gen Z women.

That kinda depends on who you talk to and what their priorities are..

For example the Leopard 2 has better fuel efficiency.. and some would argue a marginally better gun…

But… the M1a2 has better crew survival and better global logistical support…

What’s best really depends on what’s wanted and needed by the country deploying them..

That said the Leopard is a fine tank…

Production capability is a huge factor as well..

Germany is very limited.. right now it can produce about 50 leopards a year…

Without ramping up production the US is currently producing about 150 M1A2’s per year…

Most Germans I know seem to have a collective guilt regarding the past two wars even though none of them were involved.

Most Americans have wanted Germany to pull a much larger roll in their own and Europes defense since the 90’s if not before.

Like him or hate him Trump seems to be doing what no other American Presidents cajoling has been able to do. Removing the guilt and getting Germany and Europe off high center. Primary by pissing them off.

Hello,

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
