My only question is wether we will be out of Iran in 3 years or is Trump going to leave the pull out for the next president to clean up. We will see.
If the government stays true to its initial commitment, it won’t be 3 years…

There will be no strategic targets left to bomb… and there is no reason to send in an invasion force to hold the ground… that’s not the objective…

My bet is the long game is 3 months… the short game is a few more weeks..

He has made that clear… he’s selfish…

He’s worried about how much he has paid at the pump personally…

He’s worried about sharing a border with Russia…

He’s ok with being selfish and only thinking about his own self interests…

But not ok with the US thinking about its own self interests…
I also think he has trollish tendencies.:P Viking:

I’m not so sure… originally I thought t so.. but the runoff is 2 months and 2 days away… and I’m not seeing a lot of bill boards or hearing many radio adds etc yet…

Im starting to think they know that everyone has made up their minds… they’re not converting anyone new.. so they’re focusing on their base just trying to make sure everyone gets off the couch and goes to vote in May..

Cronyn spent most of his money to eke out a victory in the primary. He will still outspend Paxton but his donors are having second thoughts throwing more money at a candidate that probably won’t win the primary.

The problem is grok, copilot, and ChatGPT all advise that there is no public evidence of any of the claims in that tweet…

(I cut and pasted it verbatim into all three and asked for evidence of the claims)…
I won't get into how I feel about AI (it's not good), however, Big Tech controls AI, and Big Tech is typically left leaning. Some farther left then others.
The output of AI can be controlled, just like Google and all the other search engines controlled by Big Tech.

Of course the price of gas is important..

the point is the price of gas isnt as high as it was for all of 2022 and for part of 2023..

gas prices rise and fall routinely based on political agendas (Biden admin place significant restrictions on drilling that caused prices to rise as an example), wars, and other geo political occurrences..

all the blithering last week about the world ending, jets not flying, etc..etc.. was non sensical, unsubstantiated, bullshit... the world didnt end in 2022 when gas was higher.. and its not ending now.. it also didnt end in 2008 when it was the highest comparatively to the global economy since the 1970's....

and... WTI crude and Canada and Mexican sour crude (the principal crudes used in the US for making gas) is already back at the same price it was in February before we started bombing the shit out of Iran..

When the Iran war ends, all its going to take is another D POTUS to start regulating oil and gas again and guess what? gas prices are going to skyrocket again.. just like they did with Biden.. just like they did with Obama.. just like they did with Carter.. the only exception in modern history was Clinton who for whatever reason didnt monkey around with the O&G industry and prices at the pump largely remained stable..

The difference is the liberals will make excuses when that happens and act like rising prices dont matter then because "POTUS doesnt control oil markets".. EXACTLY like they did when Biden and Obama were POTUS..

Or fkn labour fktards..milliband being one of note....he needs dropping in the north sea in a solar powered dingy....

I don’t disagree… but.. whether we like it or not, it’s here to stay… we either adapt… or get left behind…

The key to the AI responses was that it pointed out that to substantiate the X post claims there would be hard data evidence in CAT data, exchange logs, etc.. and no such evidence exists…

It then addresses inconsistencies in the allegations that make them likely untruthful..

In a nutshell… the poster made shit up… posted on X… and hoped we’d all fall for it

And now Dems, with complicit MSM and kings in black robes, blaming the victims for being assaulted or murdered by illegals. But get rid of ICE and call it reform? So much ignored truth in, “can’t fix stupid”. I long ago quit trying to understand or negotiate or even debate those who are mentally ill.

It will be a risky not to mention costly operation..and for how long..?

Iran had a Mosaic Doctrine in place prior to the war in case of decapitation. All 31 IRGC provincial leaders became autonomous to carry out the war until a new leader came into power. Some leaders like those in the Straits are continuing to carry out their orders. Some are not. Many Provincial leaders are gone as are their replacements. Communication is cut off from Tehran. They are waiting to hear from their new leader who may be dead hanging out with 72 female virgins which is a problem for him if he is gay. Or he may be alive missing a leg and a face and cognitive ability in Russia.

You condemned Trump yesterday for not blowing up the electrical grid and called him a TACO. If there are leaders in Iran Trump thinks he could work with isn’t it better to try and work out a deal together in Pakistan. Then a new leader could be in place and call off the Provincial dogs. Will they listen to a new leader they may not completely align with is the question.

To answer your three questions.

Yes it is risky but Trump weighed the risk and made a decision.

Yes it is costly but Trump weighed the cost and made a decision.

So the question is how long. My guess is probably by/in summer. Possibly longer. In the mean time it looks like you can rest comfortably knowing an Ayatollah can’t hit Oslo with an atomic bomb attached to a ballistic missile.

Paying $3/Gallon for a couple of months or the rest of the year is not too much for me to bare for dealing with a country that has been at war with us for 47 years and has killed/maimed thousands of Americans when you include IED’s (glad I prof read since I put down IUD’s :E Shocked: )
