I think he is up for re-election in 2028. He will most likely either get primaried out or run as an independent.

I admire the president's political courage in this instance. I find much of the MAGA base, particularly those creaming on the web as we type about the President betraying them, to be some of the more ignorant people on the planet. You can keep the cookies, I'll keep my intellect and ability to exercise critical thought.

You shouldn't confuse ignorance, with people that simply don't have the same point of view, or outlook, as you do.
Many of us say the same thing about the establishment types.

I am kinda surprised that Iran targeted US bases in Arab countries but did not target those in Turkey. There are at least two I know of that are closer to Iran than any of the others that were targeted.of course, Turkey is part of NATO and that might have something to do with it.

I don't. Ignorance, particularly passionate ignorance, is very easy to identify. I absolutely respect informed differences of opinion. Such people are worth debating. The screaming "betrayed" multitudes on X and other sites at the moment are merely pitiable.

Much fear of a soaring oil price now..but I doubt that Iran will be able to block the strait of Hormuz..mine laying and missiles on US Navy and oil tankers.

Trump says he will go after Iran´s naval assets and ballistic missile launch sites..

Let us hope Israel-USA etc. crush the Iran regime once and for all..
