The Democrat dog whistle

Watch the video of the shooting in Minneapolis and watch the video of January 6 . . . then tell me which one looks like an act of domestic terrorism.

Excecute a woman for not following orders..?
Ashley Babbitt. Unarmed. Crawling through a broken window. Shot dead.

Renee Good.

Being arrested or detained. Officer in front of car the moment taillight changes from reverse to forward. Wheels angled left quickly turning toward the officer. Vehicle makes her armed in the eyes of American law.

Both women in the wrong. The difference is one is unarmed and one is armed.

Pretty easy for most of us to determine which one is domestic terrorism.

Facts, my friend

Around 4 million US citizens visited Spain in 2025, without visas, you are very welcome, to enjoy the country and even hunt if you feel like.

After reading some posts in this forum, I sincerely believe that some of your fellow citizens should travel more and realize there is a whole world out there.
My friend, I am hunting in Spain this October. But I suspect it's my first and last hunt in Spain. 21% VAT on top is just too much.

Negative, he is standing in front of the left fender and steps aside, out of danger, and begins to shoot at the lady, eventually shooting thru the driver's window which is down. The vehicle was never aimed at him and the lady was just trying to exit the area. Working for Ice Barbie he won't face charges as he should, he'll be awarded for murder.

I take it that you don't get much ice on the roads in Thailand. If that had happened on a warm and dry road those rear wheels would have found purchase and that agent would've been flattened.

This agent was already run over earlier this year. Law Enforcement in the States treat a vehicle no different from a gun, and rightfully so.

I don't want to see anyone get killed.
Had she been at work or doing her job as a mother instead of playing social justice warrior trying to save the planet and instigating the situation she would probably still be with us.

Life is full of choices, she just happened to make a piss poor one!

After watching the video of the recent ICE shooting in Minneapolis, other than thinking, play stupid games, win stupid prizes, I thought of the many controversial officer involved shootings with my own agency in CA involving suspects behind the wheel of a vehicle.

All were ultimately considered justifiable uses of lethal force and within department use of force policy, however, that didn’t stop the millions paid out in lawsuits. Our department recognized the need for additional training to address this.

An officer will go through training throughout their career, called advanced officer training: to address changes in law, department policy, tactics, new technology, etc,and to maintain proficiency with perishable skills including defensive tactics, emergency vehicle operations course (EVOC) and firearms training. We are in a constant state of training. Even as a lieutenant, I did this until I retired.

As a general rule, it is a poor tactical decision to place yourself at the front of a vehicle with a suspect behind the wheel. You are exposing yourself to unnecessary risk and giving yourself fewer options to respond if the driver decides to accelerate towards you. Our agency comprehensively addressed this both in the classroom and practical training scenarios. Of course there may be scenarios where it may be unavoidable.

I don’t mean this to criticize the ICE agents or law enforcement officers in general. I do not know what type of training they have received nor their specific use of force policy. Generally speaking, it’s pretty universal if your life is being threatened by death or serious bodily injury or another person is being threatened by death or serious bodily injury you may use lethal force.

I do know it is easier to sue cities, counties and states than the federal government which forces those city, county and state police agencies to address this in training and updated policies. I believe federal law enforcement is slower to respond in that regard.

My guess is this falls within their use of force policy and is justified but I also believe updated training is in order regarding the tactics being used. Don’t place yourself at the front of a vehicle!

Is Putin going to be the end of Russia as a nation and a people? Interesting view on what is happening in the eastern half of Russia with regards to the massive influx of foreign peoples, mostly Chinese, Asian and Indian, and the long term impact that is likely to have on ethnic Russia. At some point, and I believe that point is rapidly approaching, the people of Russia must revolt against the despot that is ruining their country.

The impact of sanctions, and now the rapid loss of Putin's shadow fleet of tankers, the political change in Iran, political allies are disappearing. If he conscripts the East Indians to the front line as he has done with others that went to Russia for a job, that source of workers will dry up rapidly.
China is not Putin's ally, they are "friendly" predators. Smiling, while they take complete advantage over a failing state. Slowly, but inexorably taking over regions with migrants taking over the jobs and communities vacated by the Russians sent to the front. China is likely to be the quiet "winner" of the Ukraine war as the areas they become the majority people living there, shift loyalty from Moscow to Beijing.
With the attrition of the Russian army in Ukraine, Putin will not have the resources remaining to keep Beijing from simply taking control of Siberia and the natural resources there. As there is no visible end in sight for the war, by the time it does end, the population in that region will quite possibly be majority Chinese. And I will be surprised if any country in the world even gives it lip service when Putin objects to the loss of territory.

Let's not get too carried away with the self idolatry and the neo-isolationism that spawns it. I love international travel and much of European and South American Culture especially. For reasons beyond my comprehension, the administration is in the process of making it ever more difficult for Europeans, among other foreign populations, to visit our country. It is only a matter of time before those nations reciprocate in kind. Given a choice between the Redneck Riviera and Med, I'll opt for the Med.

I’ve already run in to this in travel to odd spots on the globe that Trump has put on the black list. Some of them may make sense for security reasons, but not the spots I’m talking about. I have no idea what he is trying to accomplish.

RTX and Other Defense Stocks Fall After Trump Says He’ll Ban Dividends, Buybacks

This is certifiably insane - the sort of action a Mamdani would propose. Defense stocks typically are not purchased by individuals trying to ride an up ramp. They are purchased by institutions looking for stability and predictable dividends. The typical Defense Corporation operates on 9.5-10% profit margin. Where does the financial genius in the White House think defense R&D money will originate if investors move to other corporate sectors significantly lowering stock value. Defense stocks have fallen over 5% across the board in the last hour since this was released.

This ranks right up there with tariffs on products we don’t produce in this country. Who is dreaming this crap up?

Don’t be cheap… sweeten the deal for them and throw in everything in California north of San Jose… :)

We want Alberta too!!!

Oh for crying out loud. The masked man that ran up to her car screaming at her wasn't slipping on the ice! Minneapolis salts their streets IN THE EXTREME. I saw no evidence that she was spinning her wheels. According to her ex-husband the woman just dropped her kid off at school. So these clowns were firing live rounds in a school zone? Definitely was a built up neighborhood. For what? A known felon? No. Just someone who was scared and panicked. A soccer mom who liked doing messy art with her kids and volunteering. Seems her real crime was being gay ... and don't think that isn't how this will play out.

Comparing her to that dingbat rioter shot climbing through a broken window of the Capitol is ridiculous! Just ridiculous. Shameful. That was a riot. As a policeman I'm not going to interview rioters to figure out if they are armed or not. Break down doors and I shoot you. Period! Then it's no longer a demonstration. Breaking and entering is a felony last time I looked. Felons in the act are subject to armed intervention. Assumption was the "demonstrators" meant to do physical harm. Which is exactly what they were chanting!! "Kill Pence." Another reason to fire away. This mom in Minneapolis just meant to get away. So let her get away. What's the big deal? Go to her house later and knock on the door. She's not going to rob a bank or break into the Capitol building in the meantime. Her rap sheet is a couple of parking fines. Hardly America's Most Wanted.

I hope it stays a great country to visit and that the children, grand children, gg grand children, etc. of the guys here who love to visit can also love to visit. The future is more of my focus than the present. I want the future generations to have good times as well. If it starts to follow the lead of some of your neighbors, the future doesn't look too good.

I guess I don't understand why you think Americans or some of my fellow citizens or a particular demographic or a particular number of people to realize there's a whole world out there.

The sooner the West stops obsessing over Russian feelings and rhetoric while instead focusing on Russian capabilities, the sooner we will contain this virulent culture and moderate its behavior.

Oh yea
Maddening that Somalis were carrying $1m cash per day out of Minneapolis airport and Biden administration didn’t look into it even though the money was declared.

Oh yeah, JustTheNews is such a reliable source. Pffft!

"Independent fact-checking organizations, like PolitiFact, have assessed claims made by individuals associated with 'Just the News' and found several to be false or misleading."

Just for some news, try Googling "Is Just The News a reliable source of information?" Just as well cite Grimm's Fairy Tales.

@Red Leg what is the tactical situation on the ground for Russia today? How close are they to the point of no return as it pertains to eradicating the breeding-age of men in the country? I think it was Peter Zaihan <sp?> that was tracking this saying there is a point where they lose so much of a key part of their population pyramid that they cannot recover?

I wholeheartedly agree this was a tragedy that was avoidable. Different procedures or training may have avoided it as would have different actions by the woman. However, I would counter your last statement with the fact that the woman shouldn’t have been interfering with LE and not obeying officer’s commands to get out of the car. Instead she backed up and then accelerated and turned toward the officer.
It seems that things almost always go south when suspects don’t obey officers. If she just would have stopped her car and gotten out, she would have been arrested and probably out of jail that night, instead she made the choice to flee in the direction of an officer. It cost her her life. She made the wrong choice.

Question for those of you that have watched a bevy of the Minnesota ICE shooting videos:

In one of the videos taken about 1 block in front of the shooting, I see a car fleeing that looks like it has a broken windshield that preceded the vehicle that is the subject of the national outrage. Is that also true? Or did they just have white crap all over their dash that made it look like broken glass on the driver side?

I hear no reports about a preceding vehicle.
