Here we just had both chambers wasting weeks on a ridiculous shutdown and a dead convicted pedophile. Of course rooting out who was complicit is important. But should have been handled 4-5 layers below the top levels of our federal government.

Trump is as easily baited as a four-year-old. What the Democrats with their video did was an obvious political stunt to anyone with the remotest iota of common sense. Trump's response was better than they could have ever hoped. If he has no control over himself, how will anyone continue to trust he has control over events. The economy, supposedly his great strength, is like a millstone around the party's neck headed toward the mid-terms. Instead of addressing those issues coherently, he makes himself look ridiculous.
 
Given the fraud and redirection of millions by Somali sympathizers in the name of autism assistance, is it not time that we more appropriately define treason, sedition and the like? When buying a gun, we sign a document that asks if we have ever been a member of a movement to overthrow the government of the United States. Isn't sending money to Al Shebab just that? If it ought to be lets codify it and stop the efforts to overthrow western civilization. This is not England or France!

I thought the same. The 6 Senators were on the defensive for the ridiculous video and on their back foot.

Now Trumps stupid comment lets them off the hook and now all the focus is on why Trump wants the death penalty for senators.
 
Those video comments were most certainly seditious and deserved the most direct and pointed response by Trump. You all better get on Al Green’s impeachment bandwagon. Pick a side,
 
The Senators video was a pandering, lazy argument. Aimed NOT at the military or intelligence employees. They know that they don’t have to follow illegal orders. It was to show the voters they are standing up to Trump.

But it wasn’t treason. They merely reminded military and intelligence employees what they already knew. (You don’t have to follow illegal orders).

Everyone agrees it was not only ridiculous but was back firing on them. So instead of letting them baste in their own juice.
Even the left media was grilling the senators.

Now they are focused only on Trumps statement.

Trump provided a pressure relief valve for them. When your enemy is F’ing things up on their own. Don’t get in the way.

I didnt have time to do research"..

They are truly a party of idiots and losers at this point... why not just stick to making sure the american people know that? That will win far more elections than playing the treason game..
