Could someone kindly tell me where to find the ignore button?
I've just about reached the end of my tether re this gift to mankind aka @Frostbite.
Must be incredibly hard to carry the burden of being the the only person that is ever correct.

Easy to do.
Hover your pointer on a members's name.
In a second or two a small information window will open.
Ignore buttom is bottom center.

That is my thought as well, I believe you can have a discussion with anybody, and I try to, I mean I even dated a girl in PETA. But there becomes a point when the person isn't wanting to actually have a conversation and I can start to feel my IQ dropping that I just have to hit the ignore button.

Like I said earlier.. I actually really enjoy talking to people that have different points of view.. I especially enjoy it if the other party is from a different culture, or is in a different age category, or maybe a different socio-economic class, different education background, etc..

I know why I think the things I think.. Im curious how other people see the same things I see, but come to different conclusions..

Im thankful for an opportunity to potentially sway the other party in my direction... and Im equally thankful to have an open mind and be willing to sway the other direction myself if the other side can make a compelling argument (we dont have to be talking politics.. we can be talking anything from wildlife conservation, nuclear energy, or religion.. to musical tastes, social values, or the history of the indian sub continent. it really doesnt matter)..

But that requires the other party to be a rational and hopefully at least a half inteligent human being... otherwise you may as well be debating with Muhammad bin Tughlaq (often seen as the dumbest person to ever rule India.. known for truly stupid action after stupid action after stupid action.. despite being advised by teams of known and established, wise and intelligent people that surrounded him)..

Some people are either just too dumb or blind to get out of their own way..

Anytime I get a chance to stir the pot on the subject of India, I have to make a sensational but true claim. The dumbest, most violent and murderous Indian leaders ever were Gandhi and Nehru. Those two "peacemakers" didn't see the savagery they were going to cause by allowing the partition of India. Senseless slaughter of Muslims and Hindus, senseless suffering as they were both forced to relocate, all in the name of creating Muslim and Hindu separate States. Did it work? Nope, there are more Muslims in India than Pakistan, so why the hell did they cause untold suffering by forced relocations when they could have stayed a unified State of Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, and Parsis?

Alright, I'll calm down now. I just hate the historical facts of senseless slaughter and misery.

I scanned @Frostbite 's non-political posts (there are not many). They offer essentially zero informed opinion about hunting - Africa - or anywhere else for that matter. Typically they are simply jump on board comments. His dialogue here is essentially the rote leftist nonsense and talking points that populates the gutters of X. Hence, I have concluded he is merely a troll - witting or otherwise.

I respect someone with whom it is worth debating. Stand back from his posts a bit, and you realize they read with the breathless excitement of self-admiring college sophomore who passed his first political science exam. He may be as old as he implies, or he may actually be that sophomore with nothing better to do than prank better people. He is not worth debating. I miss @Saul.

I did benefit from the early portions of the discussion. Growing up far removed from a Jewish population, I simply was never exposed to the religion and culture. I never understood the hatred towards the Jews. From time to time, I looked into it but never came to any sound conclusion. Further, I had little information on the hatred for the Jewish state. I learned enough over time to begin to have a foundational concept. The discussion brought up point and counterpoint and I felt my understanding strengthen. I have a son in law who, at times, reveals his anti Semitic beliefs. The points brought up by frostbite helped me to understand the flawed foundation for the son in laws beliefs. My thanks to @mdwest and the others who took the time to explain information that I had little information on.
With that said, about midway through, I had enough and popped the ignore button for only the second time in my 12 year career on AH

Funny.. I was just thinking about him earlier this week with all of Frostbites anti semitic drivel..

While @Saul and I were very clearly opposed on most social issues.. I sorta looked at him like our AH Bill Mahr.. He was 100% worth talking to, getting to know, and listening to what he had to say..

His conclusions were often very different than mine.. but he was obviously intelligent and articulate and well informed.. I also think he was likely a good guy that truly wanted good things for people in general.. we just had opposing views on how to get to the desired end result..

I miss Saul too..
