Stopped by my LGS today. Manager tells me he has taken in a .458 that morning. So, I walked out with a M-77 in .458 Win Mag that was made in 1978 and spent its life in the previous owners safe.

Those are neat rifles, had two of them. Not much fun to shoot though.. The early 77's are about my favorite rifle, used one in .30-06 on my recent trip to Namibia.

Found some cast bullet loads and harvested a feral water bottle in the back yard.

Found a Vari-X III 1.5-5x20 to install on this rifle, once I receive the scope. It should be an excellent match to this rifle.
