Welk was a character. Loved seeing him on the late night talk shows. He was born in North Dakota but didn't speak English till in high school. The janitor at Dad's dam was raised in the same town. He said Welk was the real thing. A nice guy.

Ah, and who could forget those Geritol commercials. Fountain of Youth in a bottle. :D

What sling studs do those swivels fit ? They look to be quite a bit wider than the standard modern swivels. They may be just what I need for my Remington 30 Express wide swivel studs. Can you measure the pin diameter ?
