Animals are really smart. One particular horse I had would run around the pasture, want to play, etc. until I even thought about putting the saddle on him then he would act lame, stone bruised, tendons bowed, etc. and by the time the saddle was on his back you thought his legs were broke.

Wouldn't have any problems with him when a child was around. He would act like he was walking on egg shells trying not to break any. When I mounted him, or go to, it was let's go, whether I was ready....or not.

We had a unique bond.
