Here is a short clip on leopard hunting - thought everyone might enjoy this. I have been trying for a couple years to get this 'shot' from the in the tree perspective...
Location: Tanzania

Looks like someone got a great trophy.

Bert...that's the funniest thing I have heard all day! thank you.

Nice one Nathan.

Awwwhh...........kitty done fell outa da tree!:ROFLMAO: How the heck did you get that leopard to come out in the daytime? I always thought you had to hunt them in the middle of the night?

(and maybe our local fire dept. can employ similar techniques for getting house cats out of trees:sneaky:

Lots of work and luck to get that on tape.

Thanks for sharing that.

Awesome! Thanks for posting Nathan.

Great video.

So many cut it off as soon as the shot is done. I love how it stays for a few seconds in the spot where the leopard was . Something about the finality of it all I guess.

I think I was as surprised as the leopard. Damn near dropped my phone. Happy I didn't wet myself.
DAGOOOONNNE!!! I have to agree! You could have at least warned us!! Hahahaha! I think I jumped a foot out of my chair! :ROFLMAO:

bloody hell , I near popped a stitich when the shot went off.......
I near jumped off my seat......

Lots of meat and time!
We have more daytime cat activity in Tanzania than any other place I've hunted. That video was from a trail camera in the tree- we also have the shot from the blind with a regular camera.
We guided 6 leopard hunts last year and killed 6 nice cats in daylight hours. The areas are big and remote, this one is approx 2,300 sq km or around 1,500 sq miles I guess. They don't know people and have not been persecuted. No villages, no cattle, no dogs...just us and an occasional poacher!

that made me jump...outstanding footage

Nice cat, thanks for uploading it.

thanks for taking a look at this guys - I am going to try to post another video today before I head out for the TZ camps. I hope to have some more good footage and stories in a few months - feel free to share this video with any hunters.

Thank you for a great post. Just 29 days till I leave for Mozambique and I hope a Leopard. John
