Kudu - 454 Casull

Every April I visit Johan Dreyer in Grahamstown (http://www.tuskerslodge.com).

The last day - I was lucky, and managed to come close to this bull.

I was standing - watching him for some minutes - before I could aim the fibersights on him.

The bullet hit the heart - and he ran about 40 m.
The bullet was found under the skin - on the other side, and therefor it was no bloodtracks to follow.

The 240 gr. XTP looked as it always looks after the job has been done: Just like the Hornady advertise
As you can see by the picture - it was a "bushy area".

Nice shooting.... 40 yards is a long way for a revolver.

I've been practicing with my Superblackhawk .44 magnum but I'm very far from hunting with it (the core lokt 275 gr are too much for me I think)....probably need more trigger time with 240 grains before going up
