The asking price is CDN$12,000.00.

If I had an extra $12k, I’d be on it like a fly on s..t!

It is a fine looking rifle.

at Cdn $12,000 I'd buy, but I already have my Merkel .450-400 and am happy with it. That k gun is a good value. That rifle in .470 with plain wood sold for Cdn $16,500 new w/o ammunition at Wolverine supplies.

Steal! Take it now!

Fairly good deal, 9800 CAD would be as cheap as you’d see one at a US show on super special. ($7500 usd)
Not sure where you’ve seen one for $7500 but I’ve not and was looking for some time. New they are $16,500.

Hi Phil,

At some of the conventions in the past many years the floor models went around $7800.

A friend bought one in 470 under these terms...not the prettiest rifle but he just loved it.

Converted to $ U.S. that is just over $9,100. If you can use the LOP as is and you are getting dies, brass and bullets I'd jump on it. Like Phillip Glass said, "it is a steal."

Get it!!! Great rifle and a fantastic price.

That's CDN dollars... Estimated exchange at the moment : $9,052.00 USD

Wow

@Philip Glass not a pretty one like the top photo. The heinously ugly ones with the bad engraving and the cartoon buffalo on the floor plate.

you won’t find the attractively engraved one like the picture up top for under 10.

I assume you own this by now:sneaky:

It is a gem of a rifle .
I used to have an English client who used to bring the same calibre of double barrel rifle , built by the English firm , Jeffery and Co. to Darjeeling for Shikar . He succeeded in securing many exceptionally large Gaurs with it. However , when he had expended his existing stock of ICI Kynoch cartridges , he had to put the beautiful rifle away ( at the time , ICI Kynoch was no longer producing central fire calibre rifle cartridges ) .
He then switched to a .458 Winchester magnum calibre double barrel rifle , built bespoke for him by the English firm , Holland and Holland .

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,

Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
