Hey all - unfortunately, when I recently took the shot on my impala it turned and was hit in the lower jaw. There was no way to salvage the hide for a shoulder mount. I’d rather not do a euro mount. Is it possible to buy a skin and utilize my antlers for a shoulder mount?

It should have been very easy to find a replacement hide from your outfitter in Africa before shipping. If it’s already past that point, talk to your taxidermist. There are impala capes available.

Echoing what 375 said. My gemsbok cape was not good for mounting (my fault) and the taxi offered me an extra he had. I don’t think he even charged me for it.

Impala capes are readily available anywhere in the world. Sorry that happened.

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.
I broke my cherry, August 2026, 41" Cape, hooked for life.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
