I need a name....

My son decided to call my 9.3x62 heym "Rita"..he was about 9 or 10 at the time....he tried it and he went one way and the heym the other..managed to just keep hold of the butt.....he turned around and said its Rita...I asked him why?...he said that was the name of the scariest amusement Park ride his mother had taken him on when they went over to mainland UK... :E Big Grin: ....he is 26 and still calls it Rita .....so am sure something will happen to give you a name for your double...just take your time :D Beers:

Draak Vuur - Afrikaans for "Dragon Fire". I am finally getting around to watching Game of Thrones, lol. Be sure to roll your "R's" when you say it.

Josey Wales as in "Hell is coming to breakfast".

Looks to good to be called “ big mamma wop wop”

Continuing the German theme: Brünnhilde

Here is this delectable example of German womanhood:

This will allow you: (1) to hum 'The Ride of the Valkyrie' (don't forget the whooping 'Hi-ya ho'); and, (2) to make references to 'it ain't over 'til Brünnhilde sings'.

No man, You cannot call a double rifle `Helga` ! We live in Germany & Helga is a 1920s - 1950s name, old school & outdated. Diana, the Godess of Hunting, now that would be a name!

.

Helga has great Nordic roots! Meaning sacred or blessed! That can be helpful when facing dangerous game ! ;-)

Double Diana (Diana is also German Goddess of the hunt).

MATILDA

The name Matilda is a feminine given name of Germanic origin, derived from
maht ("might" or "strength") and hild("battle"), meaning "mighty in battle" or "strong warrior". It is a classic, vintage name that implies strength and courage, often associated with historical queens and the literary character by Roald Dahl.
  • Origin: Old High German, specifically from the name Mahthildis.
  • Meaning: Mighty in battle, strength in battle, or powerful warrior.
  • Popularity: The name has experienced a revival in recent years, often considered a "vintage-chic" name. It was popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, fell out of favor, and has returned to popularity in the 21st century.
