I just found this forum, not sure why I never found it earlier. I am a newby to Africa. I went to Namibia in 10/13 and hunted the Caprivi with Mike Kibble. Went primarily for buff but also stumbled upon a really nice sable. I made all the pedestals.

Welcome to AH discap! Glad you found us and thanks for sharing your mounts with us! When will you be back in Africa?

Very nice work sir

Thanks. You know all those stories about how good the native trackers are. Tracked the wounded sable for two days into the National Park, with permission. Unbelievable tracks everywhere. And they knew which ones to follow.

Hope to return to the Caprivi when oil prices go back up.

Welcome to AH discap!

Welcome to AH.

Thanks for the kind words on the gems OKC mount. I had most of my mounts done as pedestal mounts because I can do moe with them. You can't tell from the picture I sent but there are two Africa shaped pieces that the mount actually sits on. You can see them in this picture. Since people seem interested attached is my Impala in the corner cabinet of my gun room. Pretty simple mount but more interesting to me than a shoulder mount.

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
