Howdy from Deep E Texas

Welcome to the posting side! Have fun planning and let us know if you have any questions...

I'm no big game hunter, but squirrel hunting in the Piney Woods is fun, too.

Welcome mate from Australia
Hunting the Piney woods sound like an area Pooh Bear and his friends inhabit. Do you play Pooh sticks with your son while hunting the Piney Woods.
Don't worry I have a mad sense of humour so I hope your not offended by this mad Aussie.

If you do not want squirrels, do not plant pecans or oaks as they are squirrel magnets!

Some years ago, the residents on what is now our property planted a wide variety of pecans amongst the native pecan trees and we have too many tree rats. They even come from neighboring properties to eat the nuts.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.
