I like doing some simple wood projects, so I made a couple plaques after the Botswana hunt. The gemsbok and eland are just on a piece of live edge basswood. I'm thinking about making a plague in the shape of South Africa large enough to hold 2 or 3 euro skulls after this September trip.

Just found on the web. Maybe "too much" for todays taste, and impossible to make nowadays, unfortunately.
Nevertheless, a masterpiece by itself, a forgotten form of art.
