No. there is still hunting allowed. Just not in the government hunting areas. One can only hunt on a registered game farm.

No outfitter. Did it all myself and a couple of duddies. We looked around for what there was to be had, booked into the game farm and the rest was history. Just involved a 6hr drive to get there.

Since i am born and raised here (in Bots) and the field of work i am in. That is basically it i booked for a hunting slot and went there. Shot my quoter and had a blast of a time.

Made it to Augusta Georgia yesterday for a meeting, hunt bookings are looking good for 2026 and 2027, had a great time on our Alabama safari shot a rutting deer at 200 yards with 7mm PRC near Huntsville and then headed on to Butler Alabama and semi guided my first deer ever shot a very nice broken off 8 point with hunter there and spend a few days on 1100 acres hunting preserve awesome place!
