Wow! This is such an impressive site with very knowledgeable members, most of whom are happy to help and share their wisdom. Very happy to be here and hope I can contribute in a positive way.

I can also see things getting very expensive… I came to learn about African safaris, and within 24 hrs of becoming a member, I booked a brown bear hunt to Romania!! What the heck?!?

:S Welcome:

I hope I have a very positive report to write. I’ll admit now that it will not be of the same quality that some of you folks are able to produce. Some should be published and sold; I’d be a buyer of many!

Greetings Robert357,

Khomas Highland Hunting Safaris of Namibia, welcomes you to the greatest forum on earth.

I look forward to reading your bear hunt report and hopefully you will also share some pictures with us as well.

Best Regards,
Velo Dog.

PS:
The three photos below are ones that I took with my cell phone.
I include them here as you are interested in bears.
The polar bear was out on the sea ice, not far off the coast of Siberia, near Wrangel Island.
He is a large mature male.

The black bear was in my front yard (outskirts of Anchorage, Alaska).
The lateral green stripe across the bottom of the photo is the hand rail on my 2nd story deck.
I estimate this big boy at 400 pounds or more.
His biceps were noticeably larger around than my thighs.

The last photo was at “Brooks Falls” on the Brooks River, in Alaska.
All are grizzlies and the silver salmon (aka: coho salmon) were running.
So, these grizzlies were fishing.
On top of the falls and in the back ground are a combined total of 4 quite large males.

The two in the foreground are smaller, less mature bears who must grow larger and earn the right to take over the best fishing spots at the falls someday.

I wish you safe and successful hunting.

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
