That’s the one. Snow Shoe Gun Club in Kenai. Depending on when you last shot there, it may have dramatically changed.I’m pretty sure I’ve shot on that range….Kenai?
Nice rifle too.
I like mine. Seems to get pretty accurate readings.General question for everyone. How satisfied are you with Garmin Xero? I use Magentospeed V3. Thinking of buying Xero
Nice which hearing aids are you using?Another R8 for everyone. This is a 375H&H that weighs 7.75 lbs as seen here.
Good groupI would mostly be embarrassed to show photos of our range. It's a public range and is often littered with trash that people haul out, shoot, and leave behind. We have a local sportsman's club that does a few clean-ups each year, but they (we) don't keep up.
That said I am glad I have a place to shoot. It's 180 yards to the berm at the end.
My current range trips have been in search of which rifle I will take goat hunting in September. I am leaning towards my Savage 99E in .308. While I load for everything I own, it's showing far more promise with Hornady Outfitter 150 grain CX. This was a group from Tuesday; everything has been an inch or so. I head back tonight to spend a bit more time with it.

Good group
Thanks. Sorry meant hearing protection.I don't use hearing aids.
The hearing protection I'm using are custom molded plugs and I usually double up with muffs on an indoor range. However the muffs interfere with my cheekweld, so I take them off while rifle shooting.
Our club has a long range for rifles that goes to 1000yd, some steel hung at every 100yd berm to 700 and then a few more before the large and small gongs on a mound at 1000. We have multiple short bays for handguns and rifle use, most to 60yd and a couple to 110, four have shooting houses with wood stoves for use in the winter…also helpful to escape the skeeters. Same for a tactical range with shooting house that goes to 250 yards, one larger steel at 200.
The last year I’ve spent more time on the shorter bays playing with various double rifles, with occasional stops by the main rifle range to check hits at 200 and 300, or playing with a long range or sheep rifle.
