It would be great if we had pictures from the shooting range. I enjoy the longe range and pictures of hits and targets.
I hope you will post pictures when you return from the shooting

Another R8 for everyone. This is a 375H&H that weighs 7.75 lbs as seen here.

The range that I go to most often is the public Fiocchi Shooting Complex in Conway, Arkansas. For $3 a day, I can practice pistol, rifle, skeet or archery. It's always a good way to spend a morning!

With this many lanes occupied, hunting season must be starting next weekend...

AH_Range08.jpg

The 200-yard max range is more than adequate for the dense woods I hunt in.

AH_Range05.png

I always bring an eclectic assortment: Winchester 1885 Traditional Hunter in 405 Win, LH Steyr CLII in 30-06, Browning 1885 in 44 Magnum & a Wilson Combat Protector Carbine in 300 HAM'R on this particular day.

AH_Range03.jpg

Moose to the left, whitetail in the middle, a beaver to the right & some kind of rodent in the bushes in front of me.

AH_Range04.png

Not too bad with my terrible eyesight.

My daughter plinking with a Walther PPQ.

When I want the range all to myself, I usually go out into the Ouachita National Forest & find one of the Forest Service ranges. This is where I usually shoot my short-range big boomers.

Doing some target practice at the hunting camp in Mississippi.

If we're using pneumatics for small game, it doesn't matter if we're target practicing at night by flashlight. Here we're at a cabin near Mena, Arkansas shooting a Daystate.

Sighting in a crossbow from the second-floor workshop in the barn.

I dont have a .375 barrel. How you feel a recoil?
The recoil is pretty easy for me to handle but I’ve also done a lot of shooting with this cartridge. It’s more about technique than anything else.

Beautiful. Enjoy! Here it is 15eu ($17) 1.5

I would not consider recoil (ft/lbs) of a .416 to be similar to a .375 H&H. There are calculated charts here on AH but I would guess .416 recoil to be at least 50% more than the great .375.

This is from Cool Acres, a shooting range in South Georgia, that hosts PRS matches. My rifle: GA Precision, 6.5 CM. I find that the matches translate to the hunt insofar as you are taking shots under pressure. The bench was only used during zero check and all other shots were field/improvised positions.

Just got at Vudoo Arms .22 for PRS. I haven't had it long, and I'm still on the shake down cruise, but it shoots well, and I love shooting at 200+ yards with a .22LR. It is ammo sensitive. So far, been using SK ammo which is the cheaper Lapua cousin that is so hard to find.

I guess it's a stronger recoil, but I didn't know it was 50% more. Dont have experience, I've never shot with a 416.
I'm not allergic to recoil and I've shot as a 50kg kid regularly with a 300wm,only just taking all options into account
