Waterbuck and Gemsbok Pedestals done and home from the taxidermist :) Time to start saving for this years inbound animals. Just when I start thinking that double rifle may be within reach (n)

My taxidermist really went the extra mile and included rocks in the sand that have actual plant fossils in them. Kind of a cool added touch :)

Great looking trophies!

Very nice, they look good! I know your excited!

I really like the half size gemsbok, never seen a floor pedestal like that!

Wonderful mounts! This would be good for an Nyala to show off his legs.

They look great. I really want to do an oryx and nyala half mount as they deserve to be shown like that.

Beautiful Waterbuck!

Nice - Really like the waterbuck.

Congrats they look very nice!

Fantastic Dan! The fossils are an over the top addition, love that:)

The Gemsbok is special. But the waterbuck is truely regal;)

My thoughts exactly. Gemsbok and Nyala especially have so much beautiful coloring that is preserved with a half life mount. One of these days hopefully there will be a Nyala pedestal as well :)

This!

Except switch the animals for me. :)

Not sure which one I like best. Both really great. Congrats

Very nice! The bases are outstanding and add a nice touch to the overall look.

That is really cool! And unique!

Thank you all for the very kind comments :)
My sigificantly better half got up the courage to ask how many more might be on the way... all the while fearing what the answer may be! She might just know me a little too well :D
She’s a trooper though, just rolls her eyes and shakes her head. You should have seen the look I got when I asked her where she thought we should put the elephant shoulder mount  May have pushed that one a bit far. Replica tusks it is!

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,

Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
