Nice elk! Even better since you used a .338 WINCHESTER MAGNUM to take it with! LOL

Nice sleek dark coat, congrats! Where did you get him?

Very nice, was it near Craig or Hayden, kind of looks similar. Maybe rifle?

Very nice! The 338 WM and 225 gr Swift A Frame are what I use on elk too.

I've never hunted Colorado, but it's interesting to know that rifle season opens so early. In Montana, where I hunt, it's archery season in September and early October, then rifle season late October and November.

Congrats on a nice elk and thanks for sharing!

Congrat! The .338 diameter is fantastic and you can't go wrong with swift bullets. I used my .340 Weatherby on a 5x6 a few years ago and recovered a 210 grain nosler partition that performed perfectly. Great memory to have....

I too enjoy the .338 Win. Mag. Nice looking elk!

Congratulations! Man, it is hard to believe you guys are rifle hunting elk in August down there. I know archery season opens up this weekend up here in Wyoming in some areas.
Hunting in this weather really heightens the need to quickly get the meat to a cooler.

And open up those ball and socket joints to prevent "bone sour" due to trapped heat!

Tis the season....! Buddy's bull the other day.
I've always wanted a big velvet bull.

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!
