Double addicted

There are some really nice doubles coming in at very reasonable prices, for example the Chapuis Iphisi with a rrp of under $10k. I also really like what someone did with this Baikal (sorry for not mentioning you personally whoever this was, I can't find your original post). Even with this fancy stock this would be very affordable I should think.

And what are you planning on mowing down with all those bullets?

it can be worse----you can be addicted to side by side shotguns as well as double rifles
That's a best case scenario--esp. if they are all the same measurement and configuration1

Beautiful pictures gentlemen, I just got the mount in today for my .470 and when the RMR 1 MOA shows up in the mail it’s off to Ken Owen to machine the rail.

Special thanks @Tanks - Your posts about using the RMR in 1 MOA kept me from ordering a 3.5 MOA.

I’m thinking once mounted the 1MOA RMR will help me extend the limits of my .470 and exploit its accuracy.

The best recommendation I can make is to quickly close this thread and then start drinking until you have forgotten about doubles. It is a sickness!

An absolutely beautiful combination, a 375 Flanged Magnum in a light frame Heym 89b is the epitome of iron fist in a kid glove. Finesse.

It is an addiction, enabled and encouraged by most on AH! Some beautiful rifles posted.
My Chapuis in 9.3x74R waiting for a moose that failed to read the script. Also has a set of barrels in 7x65R

I love the honey colours in that stock. The scope on your double looks just right too. What is the weight of your double without a scope?

The wood is truly beautiful. Weight without the scope is 7lb 12oz. With the Weaver scope it is an ounce shy of 9lb.

Phillip I was reviewing some of the auctions online and saw your Nubian Ibex hunt coming up this weekend. It also showed you have Addax and Axis deer. Is there a website I can go to and see the lodge, cost of animals and what is available? Thanks Mark

I really like that knife you're selling. It looks so similar to my original 1306 that has been around a long time. I can't spend that much but if you get to a point where you'd entertain offers let me know. Thx, James
