Maybe we need an AH jet to shuttle us all back and forth to Africa in the lap of luxury. I'm sure Jerome could set something up for us?!

@Philip Glass, here is a more recent article. The first retrofitted 777 rolled out two weeks ago. The other article was nearly a year old and it took that long to get the first plane out. I wonder what their upgrade schedule is going to be. I can't imagine them only doing 1 or 2 planes a year but you never know. I would think the logistics of pulling a plane out of the schedule for a refurb is a nightmare, especially when doing more than one at a time. They have a total of 18 of the 777 planes and their 200ER versions have an average age of 18 years old. The LR I think is around 9 years average.

I read the article and watched the video. (Highly recommend watching it) This is a big step up and it finally makes PE a real premium experience it seems. Maybe it won’t be long until the JNB route gets retrofitted. I am sure if there are any updates someone on AH will let us know.
Thanks,
Philip

I flew Delta Comfort on my first trip over this year. I dont drink so free booze didnt matter. Im looking at booking soon for next year and trying to decide is it actually worth the cost. Are the seats that more comfortable? They looked almost the same as others. Food is the same in both. Seats are same width. Only difference i can see is a little more leg room and seat recline. Whats everyone’s thought on this
Mark,
You do get to board earlier, have some more overhead bin space, plus the 4” legroom and 4” more recline. Since you are closer to the front of the plane you get off quicker and can get luggage and get going a bit faster. This all may not sound like much but I like it and for my $400 it’s well worth it. Maybe someday they will have the PE option but for now this is it.

Thanks Phillip
I had Jennifer at Travel Express book me Comfort for trip next year. It was around $500 more but I decided it was worth it with the extras. Especially sitting toward front and not having everyone bump into you on way to the restroom since I like isle seats

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
