From DSC:

DSC is excited to learn of the nomination of David Bernhardt as Secretary of the Interior. This position is of great importance to DSC and the entire hunting industry. Bernhardt, current Acting Secretary of the Interior, was a speaker at last year’s DSC Convention. DSC supports this nomination and looks forward to a successful confirmation and a close working relationship with the Acting Secretary.

From Boone & Crockett:

We applaud President Trump’s announcement that he will nominate Deputy Secretary David Bernhardt to be the next Secretary of the Interior Department. Great news for hunters and access for recreation on public lands.

From SCI:

Nothing.

There are two good endorsements.

Expect opposition from the bunny huggers and other Demonrats.

Good news!

Lets hope he is Pro hunter once sworn in!

An oil lobbyist running the Dept of Interior scares me. Sure, we can expand hunting but at the expense of having our public land destroyed.

To me, that's not a great tradeoff.

@curtism1234 : Are you inferring that the oil industry destroys public land? Wasn't aware of that.

The oil industry destroys land both physically and cosmetically. If someone wants to have their property torn up for income, that's up to them. Public land should be protected, not exploited.

A fairly myopic and uninformed statement on the oil industry, but you are entitled to your opinion. It reminds me of uninformed anti-hunting comments, where fair and balanced are nowhere to be seen. I am guessing that you are supportive then of the Democratic resolution, led by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Good luck with that. The next time you put gas or diesel in your vehicle, adjust the thermostat in your house or go fly on a plane, think about where those hydrocarbons came from to support the better way of life you are enjoying.

Hunting and fishing background...….not a bad choice.

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,

Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
