Posted under doubles due to the cost of these. "Does anyone use or prefer a product to clean the Outside/Barreling, Stock, short of a soft cloth"??? Just looking for a safe cleaner or polish...

Many Thanks, as always AH.
Regards, Dan.

For stock, i use ordinary wood polish in spray, used for polishing the furniture.

For my Verney I also used ordinary spray-on furniture wax, is seems to not only shine but somehow leave a hard finish like London guns seem to have. For the metal work you can use the same, it gives a waterproof sheen.
On my top air rifles I have always used a little boiled linseed oil and then an oily cloth for the metal. Now I see how well the furniture polish does I may swing to that on everything.

Excellent, Thank You!

Some people have suggested or use those "Rem-Oil" cloths around here, but I have no idea if those are wise to use on the wood/barreling???

If you can get it use some renaissance wax. This stuff makes a gun look amazing and protect it

I also use it on my gun that I take waterfowling and it seems to keep the salt water away

Furniture polish sounds great but it seems you would have to degrease the metal before using or it wouldn't stick.

I will be looking for a set of these when my .505 is done... sadly not cashed up right now for these. :(
Need anything in trade?
Cheers,

what kind of velocity does the 140 grains list, curious how they would fit in with my current 130 gr, supply of 270s. maybe a pic of the box data listing vel. and drop. Oh and complements on that ammo belt, nice.
