Marius, are these photos from the hunt last week?

Are from a different area.

We just finished a hunting week in Carpathian Mountains for trophy hunting. We had a group of 7 hunters and 5 of them harvested the stag. 2 of them didn’t get but they fired and missed. Was unusual hot for this time ( 32 degrees Celsius during day and 16-17 by night) and the rut started with one week later.
I will share with you some trophies.

Very impressive!

I have booked this hunt for 2024. My wife hasn't decided, but I believe she will join me. If your wife is considering this, contact me. Perhaps the wives can do day trips during the hunt.

I highly recommend that you tour the country as well- so many beautiful castles like Peles, Bran and Corvin to see! Marius can help you with getting a tour guide for this- I was there in July and had a phenomenal time- such an incredible country!

Just curious as to how the weight is calculated. Is the bleached skull with antlers weighed and then a set amount subtracted for the weight of the skull?

For the red stag we weight the bleached skull after 24 hours of preparation.

So the weight includes the weight of the skull? I thought normally the skull weight was subtracted.

We don’t subtract the skull weight when we determine the weight of the trophy.
When we do the FCI scoring we deduct from zero, 0,500 grams and 0,700 grams depending on the cut of the skull.

I always explain to my clients this: Carpathian stag has a big areal and they are moving freely. The variety of genes is making very difficult to predict the trophy weight.

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,
Gary (Just down the road in Springfield)

Forgive me if this is the incorrect area, I signed up to this forum just now because I wanted to be on the list to purchase a copy of your autobiography. Please feel free to pass my information along to whomever is selling. Thank you so much. I look forward to it!
I like the Tillie in my picture. They are supposed to fit loose (2 fingers inside hat band), have mesh for cooling, and hold their shape after washing.
